hotel is great , receptionist guys are very kind , manager was also kind , we talked with him due to city tax issue .

Manager made us pay the city tax although our booking payment shows that our payment includes taxes too . He was trying to explain me booking.com was not correct we have to city tax . They took that money from us ! It is 2.20€ per day per person but it is not acceptable to pay more when i have already paid it !!

Absolutely amazing hotel. The staff are so friendly. They have free mulled wine for guests for most of the day. We were given a room upgrade and a complimentary bottle of wine. The rooms are so clean and the pillows were super soft. The location is very close to the tram line about a 3 minute walk and the number 18 tram takes you to city centre Would definitely recommend this hotel to friend ♥️

We came to this hotel from the UK and stayed for two nights to join a family party (90th Birthday) on the 14th floor in a lovely space with a great buffet and ouze of drinks with great staff at hand.

Can't find anything we didn't like.

The breakfast was fantastic with so much choice I didn’t know where to start and what to try first! Everything appeared well labelled and well presented. Everything we tried was tasty and we didn’t need to eat again during the morning.

I would’ve liked to know what is in the detox juice.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The building, constructed during the Soviet era, has been well maintained and modernized while still preserving interesting design elements from the past. My room was spacious, clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. A complimentary bottle of wine from the management was a lovely touch. The breakfast offered was excellent, and we dined at the hotel twice, pleasantly surprised by the quality of both the food and the service in the restaurant. While the location is a bit distant from the city center, it’s worth noting that if it were situated there, the prices would likely be significantly higher. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, which further enhanced our experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel building is fascinating. It is a living example of communist architectural brutality done to a mid 40s building. It has a great history anyway. Spacious premises, spotlessly clean rooms. A bit outdated in some areas but still working. Great garden for breakfast and another large breakfast room in the mid-floor. Rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable bedding. Close to amenities and public transport, parks, the river, bars and beer restaurants. Trust me you don't need taxis. Overall a great potential hotel that needs some more effort, better customer relations and staff behavior and elasticity. If the latter happens, it won't be a 100euro per night hotel but much more. Visit the Sinatra bar for an afternoon drink and really visit the sky bar for the view, not the drinks and service, as it is quite outdated.

Staff wasn't rude, but stiff. We arrived to Prague after an all-nighter travelling. We knew check in wat at 1500hrs and e mailed the hotel quite a long time prior to our stay for early check in of at least one of ou two rooms. Even though the hotel knew it, nothing changed and we got to the room after 1500hrs. We were actually begging at some point. I understand the full bookings at an establishment, but you have to be flexible for customers who will stay with you for 6 nights and have a plan B and C for them. This is the only negative comment. Dear Grand Hotel International, you have to work it up just a bit and you will be close to a 10!

This hotel, despite its age, is in excellent and clean condition. With great management and dedicated, polite staff, it is an ideal place for travel, vacations, and even business stays. The breakfast was exceptional and of high quality. Even though all rooms were fully booked and the hotel was busy, thanks to the staff's hard work, the food trays and supplies were never empty, offering service on par with a five-star hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with warm mulled wine before check-in. Upon entering the room, you were greeted with a surprise of cake and wine. Another lovely touch was during check-out when guests were bid farewell with a €20 discount voucher and bottled water for the journey home. I am deeply grateful to all the hardworking staff and management of this hotel for making our Christmas holiday so special for my family and me. I hope we will have the opportunity to visit this wonderful hotel again in the future.

Just regarding private parking cost was high for guests & for 2.5 days I paid 38 euros. I believe it's better just for guests it must be free of charge.
