- Fantastic location, close to Prague Castle - Great character in the property - Very large living space, with bedroom mezzanine - Kitchen facilities, including a fridge was very handy - Friendly and accommodating staff - Great breakfast served at the sister residence across the road - lots of choice and replenished regularly

- The bed was large but not very long which meant my legs hung off the end of the bed (I am 6 ft 2) - The blinds/curtains were not blackout, so light came through quite early in the morning which woke us up (fine, as we then went out early too) - Great kitchen facilities including hob, but no cooking utensils, pots, pans, bowls, plates etc

Hotel location is close to tourist destinations such as the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. Our hotel room is spacious and breakfast is good. The reception, though not available 24/7, is helpful and accommodating. Big shout out to Lena for working extra mile to deliver our checked-in baggage left from our flight to Prague.

The hotel doesn't have an elevator so we need to bring our baggage, four in total, upstairs by ourselves. The hotel room is dimly lit, maybe because of its medieval concept, and internet connection is not consistent, hence, not recommended for those who will bring their work during their stay.

Really nice boutique hotel, room good size and facilities excellent. Entry to hotel and room is by door codes, so worth keeping details on your phone. We were in the Mozart room, double bed in bedroom one and single bed in bedroom two. Air conditioning unit in bedroom noisy, but very warm so could not do without it. Nice little balcony for early morning coffee. Coffee machine, fridge and kettle in room, tea and coffee replenished daily. Bathroom includes bath and shower, toilet and bidet, hairdryer and all toiletries provided such as hand soap, hair and shower gel and vanity kit. Towels changed every 3 days. Bathrobes and slippers available from reception situated across the road in sister hotel green lobster, breakfast is also across the road. Good choice at breakfast. No lift in hotel. situated at top of very steep hill, next to the castle.

We spent 3 beautiful days in Prague and this hotel made everything even more special. The suite Kafka was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The position was fantastic, there is no need to take public transportation if you don’t mind walking a bit. Everything was reachable in 15-20 minutes walking. But if you need public transport you can easily find it close to the hotel. The receptionists, Polina and Lina were kind and helped answer every doubt or request!! If we return to Prague, we’ll surely be back here ☺️

If you are not comfortable walking, maybe the last uphill meters to reach the hotel may be a little hard. But the position is worth it!

The accommodation was excellent everything was clean and tidy, the hotel location was the best because we walked to see all the attractions, breakfast excellent and the staff friendly and very nice.Room internet good

The only thing I didn't like was the Czech television 😁 because almost all the tv channels are dubbed in Czech language but the Retro music channel saves them and another minus- the tv was an old model which didn't connect to the internet.

The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood, just below the castle. Even though there is some foot traffic during the day, as the road leads to the main attraction of Prague- the castle, the castle closes in the evening, and the neighborhood becomes quiet, so you can rest and sleep well, it was very silent. The room was tidy, and spacious, with an antique touch, with a very comfortable bed. Check-in was fast, with all the necessary information and friendly staff. The breakfast is very tasty, there is something for every taste (salty, sweet) and even though breakfast is served in the neighboring hotel across the road, it is not disturbing, because it is a couple of steps; in some hotels, you have to walk further from the entrance to the room. The tram stop is a few minutes away and down the road there are some great restaurants and caffes. Overall great stay and would recommend it to fellow travelers.

Slippers and bathrobes were missing but advertised in the room description on the booking. Otherwise, we received slippers upon asking, it wasn't a problem and staff was friendly and fast.

The room is very comfortable, decoration is traditional and classy, overall feels quite grand. The location of the hotel is in Lesser Town, a short walk up to the Petrin Hill and Petrin Tower for beautiful view of the city, or short stroll down to the Charles Bridge to other attractions. Also, stunning view from the room.

The shower can be better if adding a curtain and a shower holder. Also, as it's an old building, the air-con is a standalone unit that can't be moved and can get quite noisy. The few days when we visited, weather was exceptionally hot. So we turned on the air-con during the day to cool the room, and switch off during the night when we went to bed.

Location was good, breakfast had a good assortment, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We were a group of 6 so it was nice in the evening to be able to sit together and visit in one of the rooms.

Check in process was slow. I did the online check in and then the person had to manually do the paperwork again. I am not sure the hotel information on the website states there is no lift in our building.

The hotel is very close, in 10min walking distance, to Prague castle. The breakfast buffet in this hotel was really excellent, even for a vegetarian like me, which is often not the case in this country. Our appartment was very nice, with well equipped kitchen also suitable for a longer stay although we only stayed for one night (it was a two-day excursion from České Budějovice where I live, to show Prague to friends from China).

We would have preferred a conventional door card compared to getting codes for the entrance door and room door, which made opening of the doors a bit cumbersome as none of us could remember the long room door code, so that we had to look them up each time on a note that we had made. The equipment of the rooms could be improved by (a) adding a cupboard for clothes to every bedroom, (b) adding a little night table and night lamp to the beds - that's nice for switching the last light off / first light on without having to leave the bed, and for having e.g. a handkerchief or glasses immediately at hand.

Location was excellent - right next to the Prague castle...only negative was the HILL it is on...but that is virtually unavoidable in Prague! Breakfast was good, room was AMAZING and easily accommodated myself and my three kids in the two bedrooms and pull out couch.

I got charged extra for a fourth person even though when I booked on the booking.com website said it was the same price with 3 or 4 people - I should have just lied and not told them we ended up having 4 and saved myself $80. Also, I did not realize there was no parking at the hotel - this should be more clear. We had to pay to park several blocks away.
