The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were a really good size with heated floors and separate bath and shower room. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. The whole hotel was very hot, although you could control your room temperature. The beds were comfortable, although the duvet was small for the bed and the pillows are very soft. There is a little kitchenette in the room including a nespresso coffee machine, but you only get 1 pod per person on arrival and then you buy them at €1 each. Rooms well equipped with everything you need, although ours could have done with another light, there is also a mini bar which is reasonable. The hotel is at the top of the hill near the monastery, but there are regularly trams from the door to the town. Breakfast was lovely and varied each day.

Pillows were very soft Hotel generally too hot Room needed another light

The hotel is immaculately clean and very quiet. Breakfast is superb with lots of choices. We were initially a bit dubious about the location as it's a 35 minute walk up a steep hill from the Old Town, however the walk down is great with lots of quaint shops and cafes and brings you past Prague Castle. There is a tram stop right outside the hotel which can bring you to and from the Old Town in 10-15 minutes so we walked down to the Old Town in the day and took the tram back to the hotel in the evenings saving our tired legs. Tram tickets are sold at the reception for €2.50 per 24 hours. A fast, cheap and effective way of getting around Prague and the trams go every few minutes. As the hotel is situated on a hill, the view is absolutely amazing and is also situated beside Strahov Monastery and 15 minutes walk from Petrin view point. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were mostly pleasant and spoke excellent English but they were not exactly forthcoming with information, we also had to ask for more teabags as there was only one and for more toilet roll another day which took a while to arrive so ended up going to front desk ourselves. A lady from housekeeping walked into our room at 8.30am one morning waking us up, she left just as quickly when she realised her error! These were only minor complaints and would certainly not put us off staying here again.

The hotel was very nice and the room (superior double room, 39 m2) excellent, a lot of space and two big opening windows to the Keplerova street. Bathroom was very nice with both bathtub and shower and room was well equipped (big closet's, water boiler, big separate sink, microwawe, minibar/fridge etc...) Breakfast was excellent and breakfast room nice with opening roof. Library room/lobby bar area was nice. All staff and service was top quality. But most of all, location was excellent, hotel and nearby area very quiet and tram stops directly in the front of the hotel. Excellent for a romantic holiday! All in all, very close to 5 stars experience with good "bang for the buck".

I got a notification from the hotel two days before departure that hotel AC is not functioning. But even this did not spoil our stay, luckily the evenings/nights were cool. We had two big opening windows and thanks to the spacious room, we could keep the other one open with curtains on top. And the way the hotel reimbursed this left no room to complain. One more thing, the tv could have been bigger but we hardly opened it!

The hotel is quite close to the castle, and the room is quite large (much larger than I expected). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Outside the hotel, there is tram and the ticket can be bought at the reception. Facilities in the room are also good, there is a mini bar with multiple drinks.

Everything is very good, I don’t have things that I don’t really dislike.

We only stayed 1 night unfortunately, but would stay again. I really liked the size of the room and the breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Nice bar/salon, I found it very old style and charming. Fitting to it's location.

This hotel is very near the castle, and as with most castles it is on a hill, so bare that in mind. Do not be affraid to use public transport, it is really easy in Prague and they will help you in the reception. You can buy 3 days pass for any metro, bus or tram for around £10. If you are fit and not affraid to do the walk to/from Charles bridge it is very nice and pretty walk. That said it means that it is a lot quieter then the other side of the river, we slept with windows opened and there was no noise.

Location, location, location.Perfect location! Close to Castle but quiet in the evening and mornings. Tramstop to center in front of hotel. Perfect for walking down to center and going back up with tram. Breakfast is very nice. Room and bathroom very spacious, toilet seperate from bathroom. Bathroom with bath and shower. Staff very helpfull. Microwave, waterheater, sink, fridge, Nespressomachine, cutelery and plates also in room.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. It was a nice easy walk down to all the sites you’d want to see in the old town and a super easy tram ride back up. Tram stops directly in front of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and an excellent variety of foods. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our twin room was super spacious with a very large bathroom and separate toilet. Also had good air con. The hotel itself is beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. Would stay there again.

Only two downsides - the pillows were too soft and flat for us so not the best to sleep on. We found they were better if you folded them in half. FYI they are ginormous in size. They don’t restock the coffee and milk in your room each day. Just one lot on arrival. That said, there is a fantastic cafe around the corner serving illy coffee so we popped in their for our late afternoon coffees when we wanted one.

The hotel is located very well, 10-15 min walk to the castle, right at the tram stop to city center. We stayed at the junior suite, it was all ok, breakfast is good and staff friendly.

I didn’t like the fact that you have to pay additionally for everything. Breakfast was not included in the fare at Booking, wellness is around 20€/1h, even additional coffee capsules (beyond 2 in the room) were charged per 1€.. we had kitchenette but with no kitchen towel or dishwasher liquid. I think for this price these small things could be there. Overall all good, but not an amazing price/quality ratio. I guess you’re paying mostly for being in Hradcany.

The location was amazing. Under a 10 minute from Prague Castle and St Vitus Cathedral, and a tram stop across the road that takes you straight into the city. Staff were friendly and helpful, offering umbrellas in rainy weather and helping book tram tickets. Very comfortable bed and clean room. Free WiFi.

The TV only had access to local channels and YouTube however the YouTube buffered constantly and was unwatchable. Our coffee machine in the room wasn’t working.

Everything was excellent. The location is perfect, only 2 tram stops from Prague Castle, walking distance to Petrin tower and you can basically get to anywhere in the center by the 22 tram, which is in front of the hotel. The interior of the hotel was very nice, fancy vintage aesthetic. The breakfast buffet was very good as well, with many options and amazing sweets, which changes every day. The drinks at the hotel bar were not too expensive, 220Kc for a piña colada which was delicious. I think we got lucky with the room and got a big room at the end of the hall, and it was the nicest hotel room I’ve stayed in for a while. Comfortable bed, air conditioning was nice and cold, bath with shower AND bathtub. Overall the experience at this hotel was great! Definitely recommend.

The cleaning was not good unfortunately, we found shaved beard hair on the bathroom counter, and it looked like the carpet was not vacuumed recently, which was a shame. We have told the hotel staff and hopefully it will improve. Also, this might just be a personal thing, but it was uncomfortable that the reception staff said our room number out loud. I don’t know if in Europe it’s like this, but personally I don’t think it’s good practice. For security reasons and safety for guests, especially if they are female, hotel staff should not announce the room number out loud.
