The stay was good. We really liked the second "family" building which is located on the second line from the railway. The hotel provides more room and beds in the "family" building. Our room had two separate beds for adults, and a bunk bed for kids - four beds totally. The noise from the railway didn't disturb us, which is great!

1. The breakfast area was too crowded at around 8:30AM. There was no room to sit, there were huge lines to the waffle machine and to the toaster. I think the "family" building needs it's own breakfast area. Two buildings sharing one area is too much and unfriendly for your guests. 2. The switcher that turns the light on and off at the entrance of the room 255 wasn't working.

The staff was so accommodating and kind and helped me every step along the way. Since we were traveling from out of state and wouldn’t be getting in till super late they assisted me with getting the pre-arrival check in that needed to get done so my mom and I would have a place to lay our heads for a few hours before heading off again. The facilities were clean and the cleaning staff were also so kind, even helped us with getting our stuff back to the truck! Now if that isn’t amazing hospitality customer service then I don’t know what is! The location off the interstate was easy and simple and the identifiers to get back on (though not as direct) were simple and easy to follow. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The location is away from the busy downtown area but close enough to all the restaurants and stores. Place was quiet. Beautiful view of the mountains. Breakfast was good simple waffles, cereals, breads and your juice or coffee. All staff were very friendly and attentive.

We had a pet room which is nice that they allow pets. However, the room has carpet and it smelled BAD like piss. We had to keep our window opened all of our stay. Housekeeping the day we were checking out came in to our room at 8am ummmm check out is 11am. she then checked again about 9;30 and this was a Monday morning.

It was the nicest on our 2 week road trip. It was near a lot of services. Spacious. Sturdier trash cans than most. It was an accessible room, which we didn't need, but glad to know it was available. Very comfortable bed. Eco-initiatives. Laundry facilities.

The smoking area was right outside the building entrance so often we had to walk through a cloud of smoke to go in. Parking was tight, and would have been impossible if we had been pulling a trailer.

It was close to everything! The price was good. Very friendly front desk. We didn't try the breakfast. Our room was big. Enough room for 3 kids and two adults. We will definitely keep coming back. It served its purpose.

The room wasn't so clean. There was tash along the bottom of the bed from previous guests, and there was only 1 roll of toilet paper. We were there for 3 days and 5 of us. Walls are thin. You can hear your neighbors ask the front desk for towels, lol ... no elevators, so you will hear stopping of other guests go up and down the stairs. Also, if you have a room downstairs, be prepared to hear upstairs guest footsteps! But than that it was good!

This hotel includes all the little things that you hope for in a stay. While most hotels are cutting back on little things like Kleenex in the bathrooms and soaps.— this hotel has all the little bells and whistles, including the hairdryer!! A very good value for the price!

The location was a little challenging to find, didn’t get into….. and when you first drive up, it looks like a rather old hotel. But once you go inside to the room, you realize that it’s a really nice stay. Very clean. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and includes breakfast!! 😃

I loved how the housekeeping did an amazing job at keeping the rooms cleaned. I stayed a week with my family, and they were very thorough and made sure we had a clean room regularly. The front desk was awesome, The front dest always said good morning and made sure we where happy with our stay. Definitely recommend staying here. Good breakfast also.

Wifi could be stronger but other than that no complaints

Great location on Route 66, near to downtown and mall.

Breakfast could be better, or at least more options. This isn’t just about the hotel but town itself, if you’re not used to this kind of elevation, I think above 2800 ft, you’re going to feel kinda tired or out of breath and hotel doesn’t have an elevator; my room was on second floor and walking upstairs was pretty difficult for my mom.

I liked the location. This hotel was near some pretty good restaurants and a good movie theatre. The staff were very helpful and kind which is always a plus when in a new place. The parking was very nice as well.

There wasn't an elevator. I travel with lots of things and luggage so it was a little tough and arduous getting my stuff from the car and upstairs to my room on the second floor. It really wasn't that bad though.

When the I-40 was closed down completely at 1:00 am with only a few more miles to make it, with a big red “Closed” mark on our GPS map, and absolutely no idea when it the highway would open and no alternate routes in the middle of nowhere, I called the property directly about that “no refunds” policy. Martin, the night clerk, explained he’d seen emergency vehicles heading our way, and gave us the contact for Expedia. Expedia confirmed the closure with Martin and arranged for a refund. Many thanks to Martin, to Super 8 Flagstaff, and Expedia for excellent service.
