The location and room was great along with the accessibility to the town/boardwalk and view from the balcony. The rooms were clean and if/when we needed something the staff was very prompt but at the same time, respectful of room service if we didn't want/need it. Our lakeside room was surprisingly quiet for the location (downtown canal park). We were looking forward to the complimentary breakfast and it didn't disappoint, so many options to choose from to get us fueled up for the day.

The price tag was pretty expensive but comparable to many others in the same location. The bed and pillows were not a perfect fit for us but that's hard to cater to every person.

I like everything about the hotel. The room was extremely clean, very inviting and cozy. A majority of hotels I have stayed at provide complimentary shower necessities that usually come in smaller bottles, this place provides exceptional sized bottles that will accommodate for way more than one stay. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was fantastic and it’s located right at the heart of canal park. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and will be coming back next time we take a trip to Duluth. This hotel is wonderful. I don’t have very many photos of the room itself but I do have a picture of a beautiful view we got from the window that I will share on this review.

Spacious room with a beauty view! Great hot breakfast selection! Comfortable beds and loved the little kitchenette area! Room was pretty close to the elevator and absolutely loved and appreciated the comfortable sofa, chair and foot rests! A bit cold this time of year, but we still made use of the balcony to watch the ships coming and going! A super nice place to stay to get some relaxation and time to rejuvenate my soul and mind!! Missed having ventilation in the bathroom to get the steam out! Would have liked a couple more end tables to set our drinks/food on. Minor things in the scheme of it all. 🙂

The location was perfect. We were within walking distance to everything in Canal Park, and the view from our lakeside room was beautiful! The fitness center was really clean, and seemed like it had been updated recently. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they had staff constantly cleaning all areas of the property, so it felt very clean to me.

Our room felt much smaller than it appeared to be in the pictures, and there were a couple cosmetic things that needed to be fixed. Our door to our room had a gap between it and the wall, that let a lot of sound in, and didn’t make me feel as secure. I felt that for the amount we paid that we didn’t get what we paid for necessarily. The pool was also much smaller than some of the other pools we have stayed at in the area.

Room was modern, large, loved the bed and balcony. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and warm. We had a great stay.

The bathroom mirror didnt look clean, had little splashes on it. There were cookie crumbs on the couch and a half eaten cookie under the ottoman when I moved it. The makeup towel which is black had something brown on it, might had been a bleached spot, but it didnt look good. Also the balcony door handle was extremely hard to open and another adult had to assist. It's a safety concern.

The location was positively amazing! All of the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel and rooms were very comfortable.

Not having the room cleaned and new towels automatically instead of upon request. The cost of travel is higher than ever, and that type of service should come with the price. The pandemic is no longer a consideration but unfortunately this seems to be the new standard for “business optimization” with all hotels.

The location was key we loved being close to the boardwalk and the lift bridge. We enjoyed walking along the rocky shoreline watching the sun rise and sunset. Seeing the big boats come into and leave the harbor. The part that was great was you didn't hear the boats unless you were outside.

The only thing we would like to have done was try out the swimming pool. Extend the pool hours would be nice.dIDDt

Close to restaurants, boardwalk and site seeing. Big selection for breakfast that included GF options. All staff were very friendly and worked hard to keep the hotel clean. Front desk staff very inviting and helpful.

Stayed on the first floor and heard loud music and floor stomping first night. Man at the front desk was very helpful and assisted with calling and going up to the room, noise did subside.

The breakfast was very good and a big reason why we choose to stay at this hotel. The pool and hot tub area was clean and maintained. Loved the fresh lemon water in the lobby. The staff was friendly and helpful.

One of the treadmills in the fitness room did not work properly. The lock to the patio door in our room was broken. The coffee maker in our room needed to be descaled before we arrived.

Duluth is a beautiful city. The location right on the lake is amazing.

The staff never told us we needed to ask for our room to be cleaned. We were told we needed to put out a sign on our door. There was no door placard in our room. We should have been told about this at check in. When we went down to the front desk for toilet paper and towels, the front desk staff acted aloof and was rude when she explained this policy.
