The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The breakfast was HOT and tasty and something different each morning.They are dog friendly and gave us a doggy bag for my service dog with treats upon arrival. They have a large puppy potty and exercise area. They accommodated my request for a room on the main level. The facility was very clean and welcoming. Loved the fall decorations. OH, the housekeeping staff left a little handwritten note in the room. Thought that was a really sweet personal touch!

Our key cards didn’t work after the first day, we were trying to get in the side door with our take out food & service dog in the rain. I had to run around the building through the lobby and let my husband and dog in and have the key cards reactivated. Not a big deal. I was just hungry, cold and annoyed at the time.

The breakfast was good.

Our key cards were shut off after the first night with no explanation. Wish there had been hot tub in the pool area. When we checked out we were told that we had earned a free night through our Wyndham Rewards. After checking the bank account later I found that we were charged for the entire stay. When I called the hotel to ask why I was told that the person who checked us out was wrong. That was disappointing.

Sunday morning midway through the breakfast time they were out of everything! One slice of dried out bread and a cherry yogurt was all that was left. No milk, juice mix mostly water and a busted pancake machine all 3 mornings we were there. Paid a premium price and got nothing for breakfast. Beds are super hard. Not comfortable. Most hand sanitizers were empty also

Had a pool, however we didn’t get a chance to use it. Visiting family in the hospital.

Breakfast could have been better. Someone missed a milk date that i opened and it had definitively expired. Told the front desk and they immediately had someone check all the milk dates. The hot breakfast was basic eggs and processed sausage. I’m not a big fan of overly processed meat.

I have stayed at different Americinn places and the staff is always so nice and helpful. They go the extra mile. For example the person setting up breakfast was telling us about the new pancake maker they had. I had stayed at another Americinn the week before and had been amazed by it so we were both talking about how cool it was. It was nice to see someone so excited about their job and the service they provided.

They room was nice and clean but it could have used a few updates. Some of it was outdated. Also an extra blanked in the room would have been nice. Theere was an extra pillow but not a blanked and temperatures were cold so would have been nice to have another blanked.

The hotel was clean and updated. The beds were comfortable, large fridge, warm pool, and good breakfast. Very nice hotel!

The pool was much smaller than expected. Thankfully it was not busy and ended up being perfect for our 2 year old. It also would have been nice if there was more outdoor space for guests.

Great staff - good location.

Although everything was modern and mostly like new - it was very minmilist. The chair had stains, Paint had been applied without precision. No hot tub. Door said top rate was $250 and we paid $295 for two of the nights.

They made sure that we had a handicap room because my husband is in a wheelchair. The breakfast was great as always. We have stayed here before and had a great stay.

Good hot breakfast. The woman overseeing breakfast was cheerful; she seemed to really like her job and the people having breakfast. Tony, the General Manager, was very friendly and helpful.

We were delighted that the AmericInn by Wyndham Duluth allowed our dog to stay with us! The room had everything we needed: fridge, microwave and plenty of towels. It was very nice to be on the first floor with closer access to a grassy dog exercise area since we had our pet. We used the shallow pool which was perfect for my 8 year old daughter. The breakfast was nice. Very clean, amazing automatic pancake maker and basic breakfast items. I loved that there was free coffee in the lobby all day! Staff was very friendly and it was a great location very close to downtown Duluth. Thanks for providing us a nice place to stay with our dog during our visit to Duluth.

The only thing I would say needed improvement were the way the eggs at the breakfast were prepared. They were hard and crunchy almost as if they were baked and then sat around on a warmer for too long.
