The ac worked well. No carpet was nice. And the breakfast was nice. Even tho there were no eggs left when I went. A mini fridge was in the room, good!!! The pancake machine was cool and made good small pancakes! And check out was noon which was really nice alot of the things we were going to weren't even opening until 11am so it worked great for us.

The bed was too hard. And my Mom complained about the dirty linens had to be on the public elevator...they didn't have a service elevator. She mentioned it to someone. She also said the coffee tasted watered down and was horrible. I also wasn't a fan on the squeeze soaps. My mom's hands weren't strong enough to even squeeze it. And I find it gross that we had to squeeze them hope they are sanitized well after people stay there.

Clean, very friendly staff, inviting euro style room design. Loved the pool table and lobby area!

Pool water was too cold and there is no hot tub :( No closet. The very small rack to hang clothes was directly above the mini fridge which doesn’t make sense to me as I would use that surface for snack storage. Was not an issue for our leisure trip as we had nothing to hang. Had I been traveling and staying for more than 1 night it would have been irritating.

Easy check-in. The staff was very nice. Our room was quiet, and we had a view of the lake.

The pool was too cold to use. This was the reason I booked this hotel. Very big disappointment. I told the front desk about the temperature, and they said I'll tell the maintenance team. Nothing changed because the tech wasn't on site. On the morning of Saturday during breakfast we watched a staff member cleaning the floor using a pad under her feet pushing a cart full of food and then put the pad on the cart right next to the food she then put out for the guests to eat. Our bathroom wasn't very clean. In the corners where dirty. There was a part of the bed frame broken. Also, the window valance was missing.

One of my family members is very fastidious about cleanliness and concerned about pests when travelling. Tru By Hilton met her standards, so that is saying a lot! The hardwood floors are a big plus, and everything looked clean and pest-free. The night was quiet and the beds comfortable and the breakfast buffet was very good.

The entrance to the parking lot was a little bit hard to find - better signage could have been helpful.

Good location to get to most things in Duluth. Newer property with modern amenities like lots of charging points in room, lighting options and electric window shades. Breakfast options were good.

There was a large birthday party going on that took over the entire lobby and pool area for most of the afternoon and evening, so those areas were not really available for hotel guests to use.

I was really impressed by the whole experience—the staff working the check-in desk were so kind and enthusiastic, so it was great right from the start. The entire hotel felt spotlessly clean, and our room was no exception. Kudos to the cleaning staff who are doing a fantastic job. The location is right at the edge of Miller Hill, so it's a very quick drive to downtown and Canal Park—much faster than a lot of the other hotels on the hill. As a dog owner, I appreciated the friendly welcome that they received, as well as the good amount of walking space and provided waste bags. I skipped breakfast due to my schedule, but it looked like there were a number of options. It was nice to see that there was a gym and even though there is a pool, there was no overwhelming smell of chlorine as there often is in hotels.

There wasn't anything that didn't meet or exceed expectations.

Upon arrival, the front desk receptionist was extremely and helpful. She was able to accommodate my request and ensure I was happy with my room. The lady explained everything very thoroughly. The room itself was perfect! It had all the essentials and the view of the fall trees were perfect. The breakfast in the morning had tons of options! The hotel is conveniently located as well. I would definitely stay here again.

I think due to the timeframe, the hotel was three times as expensive as normal which I’m sure is due to high demands.

This was a trip to stay at the same hotel with my grandson's hockey team. I must say that the staff was THE Most accommodating I have ever experienced. Hockey teams of any age group are usually a rowdy bunch and our players no exception. The main lobby desk staff were experienced, friendly, yet firm. They kept everyone in order. Amazing !!

Location was great, close proximity to everything needed. Excellent free breakfast. Quiet. Love that there is no carpet or tub in room, just feels cleaner. Comfortable bed.

We were either too hot or too cold, AC unit was really noisy at night. Grout around shower could use replacing. Front desk staff dressed really casually (ripped jeans, ball cap?)

The hotel provided a fantastic breakfast with a delightful spread, complemented by impeccable cleanliness throughout the premises. The staff's warmth and friendliness added a wonderful touch to the overall stay, making it truly enjoyable.

The absence of a microwave in the room was a downside for convenience. Additionally, the disturbance caused by kids running and knocking on doors late at night, around 11 pm, was disruptive to the overall tranquility of the stay.
