The best hotel breakfast we've ever had! Everything was so tasty, I am a vegetarian and was amazed at the vegan/vegetarian options. They have fairtrade tea and decaffeinated coffee as well as the possibility to cook your own waffles and porridge. The location could not be better, everything was so close by. The rooms were big and clean, the beds super soft and comfy, the outside noises minimal. The staff was great, I loved that the person working at the reception spoke to me in Danish even though my Danish is rather bad.

One of the coffee cups in my room was dirty (salty mush from the dishwasher?), but it was no big deal, so I immediately forgot about it and unfortunately did not inform the hotel. All the other cookware I encountered was spotless!

great central location - Salen and shopping street round the corner and easy walk to water and bus/train station. lovely reception area. great breakfast buffet - ginger shots and honey from bees on the hotel roof! Spacious room and generously sized bathroom with great shower. particularly helpful reception lady helped us get back in room when lock failed and had to be replaced! love the tiny city maps provided.

noise++++ from lorries/buses outside daily in early hours. Room clean enough but we had to request if wished cleaning /bin emptied. Minimal storage options for clothes (no drawers or cupboard). overall a great hotel - just a little corporate. not the friendly vibe we were used to at Scandic hotels in Copenhagen.

Really nice hotel, with a nice location. The bar zone and the restaurant are quite nice and comfortable. Parking lot with enough space for big cars and underground with easy access to the hotel.

The beds in the rooms were quite uncomfortable, instead of a normal bed, there were two little beds with no possibility of keeping them together, so basically I had the wrong room. Also the accustic on the room was quite strange as I could hear the whole night how the water drops from the rain hitted a plastic part of the building so I was not able to sleep at night.

The room was perfect - clean, spatious and with a desk long enough for me an my spouse to work at our computer - the staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast very rich - something for everybody. We would definitely come back.

I personally prefer a less soft mattress - but the only thing that could really be improved is: the coffe: The filter coffe is Ok, but not good - the machine cappucino is almost cold and not good. Moreover, there is only one coffe machine and usually a long line of people waiting.

Location close to station which has buses to airport, close to many cultural centres, parks and the Latin Quarter. Sound proof room, roomy, ability to open window for fresh air, gathering spaces, the offer not to have the room cleaned everyday.

Coffee and other beverages at breakfast finishe on the dot of 10am so if you arrive before 10am but don't collect a hot beverage you need to buy it from reception.

The front desk staff were very helpful

We request printed instructions about parking at sailing , we were told verbally but we were not clear and paid 400 Dkk instead of 320 dkk for 2 days ; the desk staff tried to ask the parking company for a refund, but were unsuccessful , They were helpful and polite. The takeaway breakfast was a nice touch Get breakfast buffet was the best we had in Denmark

Central location. Good breakfast, excellent lounge with a lovely bar. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will likely visit the city and stay at this hotel some time in the near future.

An old building. The bathroom is small and has no ventilation or air extraction meaning that it gets really humid really quick. Strange! The towels were not of the greatest quality to say the least.

Breakfast was good! plenty of options. Room was spacious and bed was amazing, with the ability to lift it up to an angle which suited you.

My booking was lost at the hotel and it took 10 minutes to retrieve it and at one point they stated that i hadn't got a room. Which was worrying as all the rooms in the city had been booked! So maybe a better system of visual booking display would be suggested so customers dont feel anxious. Maybe just a one off I hope!

Breakfast options were varied with plenty of healthy options. The coffee was excellent and the ginger shot was a great touch.

The hanging/shelving space in the room was cramped with the shelving a little high for comfort. I have a preference for something a little more enclosed. I could hear running water through pipes the entire night which did keep me awake as well as waking me when I did fall asleep.

The love the breakfast at the Scandic hotels, and the staff are always extremely friendly. Checkin was smooth, checkout was even smoother, and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The tap water tasted a bit weird so it was a shame there was no water provided in the mini fridge. Thankfully I could buy some downstairs, but it would have been nicer if there was already one small bottle.
