The shuttle driver was waiting inside the front door for me, and I was quite relieved at that. I'd tried contacting the hotel through Booking.com and via email to get more info about the shuttle and how to locate it, but there was no reply. The room was large and comfortable, towels in the bathroom quite nice and fluffy, wonderful water pressure in the large shower. All the staff were great, very professional.

Not so much "didn't like" but rather not up to expectations. In-room coffee service: Two bottles of water, two packs of ground coffee, two Splendas, two sugars, two cups, two stirrers, but only one mint tea, and one pack of powdered coffee creamer that was so old the powder had turned to a hard, plastic-like paste. I did take that down to the desk in the morning and encouraged them to check the expiration date on their stock. I feel the simple breakfast of fruit, bread, juice, and coffee is rather overpriced at $12, but it was very tasty, and the dining room is nice.

Exceptional staff!!! Very close to the airport. That is essential in Guayaquil. This is not a normal holiday Inn. It’s far better than that. The food is excellent. Best hotel food we’ve ever had.

We spent 1 night in Guayaquil on the way to the Galapagos. The Holiday Inn is almost next door to the airport … the shuttle service takes less than 5 minutes. Convenient location for a layover. Nice pool area. Good on-site restaurant

Only 2 elevators that were often very busy

The room and the bed was very comfortable and clean, the wifi was fast and the pool was very convenient to my room. The breakfast was great with a good selection, even fresh omelettes if I wanted them.

Can't think of a thing. The location was near the airport which was perfect for me, but if you want downtown or the Malecon it would be 10- 15 minutes by cab.

clean, comfortable, spacious room. proximity to airport excellent - you could literally walk if you didn't have luggage. pretty quiet considering location. excellent restaurant on site. value very good. pool was really really really warm, which was kind of disappointing on a hot day, but would be nice on a cooler one.

It was great for what we wanted - a comfy safe place between destinations...not to necessarily stay in Guayaquil. And beds - staff - food...so great!!!

For what we wanted - nothing. But it is USA hotel prices. So expensive...BUT the food is very good. And if you don't want to travel around, an amazing destination!

We stayed there one night as we had a stopover in Guayaquil, and our flight departed the next day. Location is great, the facilities and amenities are much better than expected, and they give you a ride to the airport back and forth. All was perfect, and the crew was super cool.

Super close to the airport so was perfect for our very early flight the next day -- can walk, but have to cross a busy road, otherwise the hotel has shuttles every half hour you can reserve. Has a nice little outdoor pool area and basic gym facilities. Nice welcome juice upon check-in. About a ~15min drive (depending on traffic) to downtown and malecon 2000

I have been a customer before and I wasn't pleased with you several of the areas on the list above and so I started staying at another hotel across town we decided to try the Holiday Inn Airport again and the Improvement to are amazing hot water hot swimming pools great food service staff this will be our new home again. We travel 2 to 3 times a month to Guayaquil and you will not make this our new destination

The hotel is very close to the airport and the staff helped me to pick up someone in the airport and come back to the hotel. Very good service. Also, in the front desk, there is a screen with information about arrivals in the airport, this was very useful.
