The breakfast was absolutely excellent with a great variety. As for the location, it was fantastic. The place is in Nubia, and honestly, Nubian food is unmatched – delicious and flavorful. The place itself is beautiful and very comfortable, and the people there are incredibly kind and hospitable. Special thanks to Mr. Azam and Mr. Kazem, who are truly outstanding in managing the hotel. Their enthusiasm to ensure every guest's happiness is evident in everything they do. They have a remarkable energy and dedication to helping guests feel completely satisfied. This made the stay a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

Honestly, I don’t have any specific comments for improvement. My experience was excellent, and everything met my expectations. The people of Nubia truly take pride in ensuring that every guest leaves happy – they genuinely care about making sure no one feels dissatisfied. Thank you for providing such a wonderful stay.

From the moment i arrived in Hotel i was made to feel very welcome. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location of the Hotel was excellent as it is situated right next to the River and the view was amazing. The food was was good and its presentation. It is obvious to me now that the Hotel staff reflect the very hospitable nature of the the local Nubian people and this has encouraged me to return to the same Hotel again whenever i am in Egypt. Thank you Kendaka staff.

Nothing! Everything was fine

- We stayed two nights in this hotel. We enjoyed being out of the city and all the noise and traffic even tho the road to the house is not asphalted and it takes a lot of time to reach the property. The room was good and we had a terrace to watch the river at sunrise or in the late afternoon. - You can get a boat ride from the hotel between the nearby islands for the sunset. - Everyone was very kind and helpful. - There is a small tourist market with clothing and souvenirs nearby. - We arrange our visit to Abu Simbel with the hotel. The car, the driver, and the whole service were great.

We got our breakfast packed for our travel to Abu Simbel. It was very simple and not a lot of choices if you are vegetarian.

The building decoration was superb, and the incredible view and the staff were awesome. We got very nicely welcomed by the staff late in the evening, and they kindly waited for us and served a welcome drink. The rooms were super spacious, with a good view and string AC. The breakfast was adequate and in an awesome place. Overall this is THE place to go!

Everything was super nice. The only thing that could be improved is the shower (although the current one perfectly serves its purpose).

I liked everything. Treatment by staff was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The view from the balcony over the Nile was beautiful. The bathroom was functional. The property itself was colorful and beautiful. I was welcomed warmly with a cool hibiscus tea, which is always nice. The restaurant on the property serves excellent food, reasonably priced. If you're visiting Aswan and have a night or two to experience the Nubian Village, this is a great place to do it!

I am so glad I booked on this side of the river! The staff were amazing and made me feel at home. The food is awesome, so flavourful and huge portions, people were coming over from the east bank for lunch at the suggestion of their guides and friends. And, you can either eat on the shoreline or on the river boat in front with a nice breeze and shade. The room was so comfortable and with a beautiful view. I don't remember his name but the gentleman at the front desk was super helpful and booked a few tours for me and transfer from Aswan to Luxor, stopping at Kom Ombo and Edfu along the way, 100% recommenced if you are heading that way. The driver was so lovely and I felt very safe travelling alone with him.

I loved every minute

The man in the evening at the restaurant was so delightful and friendly, very good service. Everyone was friendly. The stand out was the food!! It was the best we have eaten in Egypt, super tasty and a lot of it! It was such a lovely reprieve from other tourist area's, it was quite peaceful. The rooms are very basic but we knew that. We were pleasantly surprised and thankful to get an upgrade with a Nile view. The Nubian Village is super colourful and you can just amble through the village / markets. You can also go to Abu Simbel from here. Don't bother going into the centre of Aswan. Overall it was a lovely experience.

The owner was very (very!) friendly and everyone was so kind and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was really nice too, and the location is nice and chilled by the river. This hotel though is not close to Aswan, so you will need to take boats/cars to get into Aswan and some of the nearby sights. Transport options are limited, but other than this, the place was very nice to stay at, I had a wonderful time!

Location - although this is not the hotel's fault. The transport links just aren't great around the area.

Loved our stay at Kendaka. We also organised transport and tours which were very good. The owner made you feel very welcome and genuinely like family. The food was excellent. Pictures of the rooms, don't do them justice. The beds are comfy, good size and excellent Aircon. Fantastic location as just a 1 minute walk from the heart of the Nubian Village. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone wanting an authentic, comfortable stay with excellent food.

Staying at Kendaka was an absolute dream and definitely a highlight of my trip to Egypt. It was extremely easy to organise excursions and the hotel is fabulously situated on the banks of the Nile with access to swim spots and incredible dune walks. I found the local community friendly and there were lots of options for whiling away the day. LOVED MY ROOM! Super comfy beds and amazing view. Staff were always on hand if I needed anything and fun to hang out with. Housekeeping were amazing. I felt very safe and relaxed. Wish I could have stayed longer and will return if I visit the area again. Delicious breakfast and a sweet packed lunch for my outward journey. 10/10
