We loved our stay at Flamenco Hotel& believe this was the best value hotel in area for amenities, rating and location. The location on Zamalek is fantastic. It's pleasant and safe to walk around day and night with many restaurant options and shops nearby. The room was spacious and comfortable. The dining room with view of the Nile was lovely as was the buffet breakfast with a good variety of cooked and cold meats & veg, fruit, bakery items, cereals, and omelette/ waffle station. All the staff were kind and helpful. We highly recommend and will stay next time we are in Cairo!

Some previous reviews make comments about age of the building & noise. Yes, the building is older, but very comfortable and has character. The room had a great bed and comfy seating! For the price, location and services we found it a very reasonable choice and loved our stay. Noise? I doubt any hotel in Cairo will be 100% quiet..it's a busy loud city!! I'm a very light sleeper & we booked a room with a view of the river - which is on the main road. Our request for a quiet room on a higher floor was accomodated and we slept well. A room street side would likely be quieter if you need :)

Location, the Nile view. The unbelievably helpful kind and welcoming staff. Everyone we interacted with was extremely nice. I must not forget to mention the attentive and helpful housekeeping staff, especially Taheya and Aya Sha'ban and the Bellman who helped us with Taxis and Mohammad who helped me with so many things including late check-in and food delivery Thank you all, Farah Ahmad

We thought they would have a king bed, but I think the largest bed they have is a queen size bed. our room for sure had a queen bed because the bed was much smaller than the bed I had at my home

Location was fantastic. I was able to walk to many restaurants and cafes. The hotel is very quiet. Very safe, as there's multiple security at the entrance to the hotel. Staff are friendly.

The wifi was not great. They also give you a wifi code for 1 device. So I had both my phone and laptop and had to phone reception to get them to call IT to approve my wifi code for a 2nd device which just seemed so archaic. It's 2024, many people travel with more than 1 device. Eventually once connected, the speed wasn't great, but did the job. Not much to do in the hotel itself, no pool, no gym.

The Hotel is located strategically in the Zamalek Area which is the centre of the downtown area on the banks of the NILE River. The hotel's hospitality is outstanding with all levels of cooperation from the staff of the Hotel. The Front Office Manager Mr Osama and Front Office Executive Ms Malek have outstanding hospitality and helped us prepone our checkout date without any financial implications. The hotel has very comfy rooms with great upholstery and a great restaurant. The rooms are very spacious and we got one with a balcony overlooking the Nile River, The Breakfast at the hotel was awesome with a great selection of Buffets, I remember the service expected by Mr. Basam. Overall I must get back to this four-star property again.

The Wifi connection could have been better, mostly because Egypt uses 3G still.

I have a gluten allergy and was very careful to choose safe breakfast options but on our second day I found that the yogurt contained cornflakes , but only after eating several mouth fulls. Yogurt should be just yogurt or have a sign to say it contains other ingredients. The sign only said yogurt. As a result of a few mouthfuls of this yogurt I have had severe gut upset and am still recovering. This is spoiling my holiday. I realise that UK has very strong laws about food ingredients so it is safer for me, but an international hotel needs to have similar high standards too for its international guests. Otherwise, it was a very nice stay at the Golden Tulip.

2 nights in my favorite hotel. Anyway zamalek is a super area. Beside the nice rooms i really have to say that the stuff is amazing. The woman on the reception is so friendly and kind and the new guest relation mrs Nada is very special. Helpfully, polite and its a pleasure to talk with her. With this stuff the hotel gets an extra point and this is for sure the reason to visit the hotel again. So: thx to the stuff!!!

Golden Tolip Flamingo is one of the best Hotel I have ever visit . The view was nice to Nile and it's location too but the most important is the wonderful staff . You may ask for Mr. Mahmoud who will be happy to help ,he is truly a leader not regular employee he helped me a lot during my stay there . Also there are Mustafa Ahmed and Mustafa Khalid each of them will help you with smile in their faces ..Ms.Mona in room service is always there to make sure you are comfortable... I have visited 100th of hotels includes 5 star Hotels but never feel comfortable as I did in Golden Tolip Flamingo Zamalik.. Thanks to Mr.Mahmoud and his colleagues for making our vacation much nice

It's a great location with surrounding amenities - great restaurants, ATM's, regular taxis and really friendly staff - nothing was too much effort for staff. We will be recommending to everybody

The View of the room, the personal of the hotel always kind and attentive in give their help about you could need in the moment, patience about any question, etc.

Just a detail in Breakfast, every time I leave the table to look for some more food leaving the coffee for example, I always found the table empty, I'd suggest wait some minutes before pick up the table :D
