I loved it. So much more character than staying in a fancy chain type hotel .... Hotel is like a resort .... there is a security boom gate, so it means Uber has to come inside ...... so much better than standing on a (hectic) Cairo street !! Close to the airport ..... Uber to airport or city centre costs about €5 ! The hotel is very Egyptian ... didn't see many (any) other Western tourists here .... I loved it ! The reception staff can usually speak English and are really helpful ! Brilliant 25 metre pool, a proper lap pool. Hotel guests can only (officially) use between 10 and 2 .... pool is (sometimes) used for school groups outside these times. A breakfast box is delivered to your room each morning. I only discovered on the last day, that there is a choice of two different types ... Oriental or Continental ... not sure what the difference is ! Enough in the breakfast box to feed me for breakfast and lunch ... there is a fridge in your room to store leftovers ! I ordered dinner at the hotel each evening. It's an experience ..... in a quaint & quirky way .... the food is really good and the pizza is really, really good !! No alcohol is served at the hotel, but there is a shop down the road ... Bazaar Sakara which does sell alcohol apparently ... but it was shut for Ramadan. Maybe bring a corkscrew with you .... hotel didn't seem to have one ... but cheerfully pushed the cork into the bottle for me !!! LOL .... The wifi is slow ... but I had just been on a tour - stayed in some fancy 4 and 5 star hotels ... and the wifi was slow in most of them ..... recommend getting an Egyptian sim card ... but even hot spotting to phone internet speed wasn't great !

The shower enclosure is a little small ... but hey, the water is warm ... does the job !

Close to airport. Good price and big room. Nice Restaurant.

I found hair on my pillow, not changed or washed well. Loud party around swimming pool after midnight.

Breakfast can be better but it’s ok

This property was conveniently located half way to the airport as we only need our room for 5 hours in the morning to freshen up before our afternoon flight out of Cairo. It had a pool which one of our party used, breakfast was plentiful. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot. Pool was lovely and warm. Free water in the room.

Staff at reception was a little bit short with me as even though we’d paid for a room overnight and arrived at 8.30am as arranged but we still had to wait for our room until 9am. But we had breakfast in the meantime. It’s clearly an Egyptian hotel aimed at westerners looking for a cheaper place to stay. It was perfect for our needs. We didn’t see any other guests Egyptian or westerners which may have been because it was Ramadan

Very friendly and helping staff , especially Sara , Mr wael and mariya . If you have any queries regarding the place , or good restaurants , they will help you .They made my stay beautiful by being so nice . The property is really good , with easy access to airport and other places .Its maintained really well . They have a gym , breakfast is reasonably good and healthy as well . Only problem i found was the wifi which was just average , i managed by buying a wifi router .

We liked the Architecture.Not less than the ancient one. Being son of a basic Plumber,the fittings were not less than Shanks,Twyford etc.etc. And when on the day of return to London,i by chance,met the Maneger General ( known as Mudeer e Alam in Arabic Mr. General Retd Muhammad Mansoor ) i had a lovely chat with him and praised his achievements in this organisation. On a question about the sanitary ware,i was overjoyed to find out that the sanitary ware was made in The Islamic Republic of Egypt (Misr ). I am personally thankful to be given time out of his precious time. My grandaughter also enjoyed her swimming session. I am also thankful to the breakfast staff especially Mr. Zam Zam for his kindness and reccomend his Promotion.. Thankyou and hope to meet lovely Personalities like

Hotel name don't justify, its a resort. Value for money. Accessible to all Cairo tourist destination as it is like in middle either to go all places.

All was upto mark. Just little maintenance and touchups needed here and there on door locks etc, else all perfect

It's a nice hotel at a convenient location 10" walk from a local subway station AND with a 5" walk from a bus stop from Cairo International Airport which is 5EGP ($0.22) fare for gov-t public buses (big blue buses). Staff and receptionists are super-nice and very friendly. The cook chef at the breakfast is super-nice I wish everywhere is staff like them. They have a restaurant and a pool on-site. The water in the pool is super-warm/almost hot in December where were 75F during the day and 69-70F by night so the water never chills out.

It's a 4-star hotel and half of outlets on the extension cords (2) were not working. Maybe it was only in my room. The shower was working perfectly but the shower cabin is super-small and doors plastic stipe was in a poor/fractioning condition. These is minor though but more common for 2-3 Stars hotels and less common for the 4-Starts hotels. Other than that, the hotel is having a pool which is really nice for Cairo! but the pool is available 10am-2pm only. Seems at other times before/after the hotel is trying to earn some additional $$ on a side hosting swimming training for kids or such but maybe it's for off of tourists' season - I was staying at the hotel in December. Other than these a few minor things I really liked staying at the hotel and its good value for the $$.
