December 2022

The hotel is beautiful and the customer service is wonderful! We had a nice view of the Nile River from our balcony. It’s very noisy outside so we didn’t enjoy our balcony much, but the room was sound proofed well because once we closed the sliding door we couldn’t hear any of the noise. The bathroom was clean and the bed was a little more on the firm side but still very comfortable for us. The breakfast was amazing! A full buffet with a chef to prepare omelettes, waffles, etc. Multiple options to choose from including gluten free. The food from in room private dining was also good even though the burger never came with the egg or bacon mentioned in the menu. The ATMs on site were able to process our foreign currency exchange which was convenient.

Our room wasn’t ready during normal checkin hours so we had to wait in the lounge area. The room was pretty small. We had in room private dining and it was a tight fit for both of us to try and eat at the table. There was no iron or iron board in the room. The wifi is slow, however this may be a Cairo thing in general. We kept getting knocks at our door to check on us which was nice, but a bit too much. The TV channels only had a few options in English.

We stayed in the madina suite which was Beautifully done up and spacious and clean. The Nile view from the rooftop was beautiful too. The breakfast was fabulous, delicious and with a lot of variety. The staff was helpful at all times, especially the concierge who arranged for our visits to the Cairo museum and Giza. The guide for the tours was Mr Ahmed who was really knowledgeable and answered all our curious questions patiently. All in all good stay 😊😊

The hotel had kept a golden retriever as a sniffer dog to check incoming vehicles, but the dog wasn't well nourished or well groomed. They made him sit in a small little cage in the extreme heat. I'm sure better and more humane conditions can be ensured for the dog.

The location and the view of the hotel to the Nile was amazing. The staff was great, Moussa was super helpful from before the check in until after checkout.

View from my room was not very good, room service food, and internet speed.

I'm selling my house in Australia so I can move to the Kempinski Nile Hotel in Cairo. This is, without doubt, the finest hotel I have ever stayed in, anywhere in the world - and I've stayed in many. The staff here are 10 stars for world class customer service, friendliness, and making you feel at home in their graceful hotel. Hotel people make all the difference, so let me name some of the wonderful staff I have come to know over my 10 day stay (apologies if I get your spelling wrong): Omar Fathy, Miriam Somir, Mina Malale, Mina Grgis, Ibrahiem and Youseff - these wonderful people who work in the The Blue restaurant staff have made breakfast time the highlight of each day. My wife and I are leaving today but we leave with a sad heart that we won't be seeing these warm and inviting people each morning. Thank you my friends for your hospitality, delicious food and good humour. And I must also thank the great team at the Concierge Desk. Mohammed and the others at the desk have been brilliant. They organised trips for us to Alexandria, Luxor, Giza, and local restaurants without fuss and every detail was perfect. And I should mention the great food in the dining restaurants at night, the cleanliness of our rooms, the sweets served by Gehid 'GiGi' on the ground floor, drinks on the rooftop by the pool everything here is just right for the traveler. Everyone here is a credit to the hotel and the Egyptian people. Thank you all and we hope to come back again one day. If not, you are all welcome to stay in our house in Australia! Regards Paul and Margaret Dennis from Australia.

The hotel was really in the middle of the action! We had a nice view of the Nile and the traffic below, which I did not mind. My wife had an episode of gastritis/food poisoning, and I contacted the front desk for assistance. Even though it was 2 in the morning, the were able to contact a pharmacist, who came to the room within 15 minutes and had medication to assist with nausea and vomiting. I was very impressed with that level of service.

The staff at breakfast were exceptionally poor. The one woman wore WAY too much perfume, which I could practically taste. She was sloppy pouring coffee as it overflowed onto the table. Many of them stood around talking, not assisting with drink or breakfast orders. It did NOT appear that they were actually working. My wife and I ate at the restaurant on-site. She ended up getting food poisoning. I am not sure what they put into the food, but I also felt quite poor after eating there. Compared to a different 5-star hotel we stayed at earlier in our trip, this hotel came up FAR short. The room was much smaller, the hotel not nearly as glamorous, the breakfast significantly worse. However, it was less expensive.

The room was decent sized and beautiful, and very clean (as was the entire hotel). Breakfast had a huge variety of foods, hot and cold as well as others that could be made at request. Staff was very accommodating, from check in to turn down service, and never seemed to linger or push for tips which was a nice change of pace.

A few small service issues at breakfast (plates stacked up before being taken away), breakfast food quality was mostly excellent but some things (especially pastries) were only decent. Room had a couple small maintenance issues (floor door stop had come out of the floor, a piece of tape above the toilet door fell down and we had to push it back up). Generally the issues would've have been worth mentioning if it weren't a five star hotel at that price.

The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially Miss HEBA and Mr. SALEH from floor 9, who cleaned our room. Also, Miss MENNA, from breakfast restaurant. The breakfast was delicious and diverse. MR. EMAD AND MOHAMED ABDULLAH from floor 7. Can't thank you enough for this hospitality. The hotel location is great and close to the main tourist attractions. Great facilities in the room. The recipients were so fast and professional.

great location and services in the hotel staff with high skills in etiquette and hosting a guest with smile and joy namly(Taha+ Mahmoud +Omar from front desk Saber) lady in red concierge kitchen ( I requested vegan meals they had been extremely efficient and patient)

spa régulation need to be changed.. for me indulging in spa is one of my best daily activities while traveling. So I always pick a hotel with spa. it’s not enough to get your customers half an hour per day to be spent only !. and not only that you still need to book your visit. it’s inconvenient create misunderstanding between me and the spa administration.they told me that is a rule not by them however I had been to four seasons Cairo with no similar experience. please make sure to change this and remove the ring and create more cozy relaxing time for all.
