I like staying at the Intercontinental Hotel because of its excellent service, and the one in Cairo was no exception. The hotel is beautiful, the room is very spacious, all the staff is very nice and helpful and the breakfast is one of the best I have tried, truly excellent. I used the spa, which is quiet with a great atmosphere and the massage was great. Also had tea at the Tea Garden, I recommend to go there in the afternoon since the sunset is breathtaking, and finally had dinner at The Birdcage, which was absolutely amazing! They also changed my dates when the airline cancelled my original flight even though they have a non-cancellation policy so I'm very grateful for that too. I had the best experience and I will definitely come back!

One of the best hotels in the world. Just perfect. I love to stay here. Gorgeous rooms, stunning views, great staff and restaurants. It's such a hub for the city and you feel in the middle of things and you can walk everywhere from there downtown or Zamalek or Giza, which is saying something in Cairo. The staff are so professional but also warm and lovely. Especially Bessan who maintained the room beautifully. I have visited the others and stayed in many of them but this is the best hotel in the city.

Not only was she incredibly friendly and kind, but she also went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect Thanks to Nevine, I was upgraded to a beautiful room with the most stunning view imaginable - the perfect birthday surprise Speaking of birthdays, the staff truly made my day even more special. Upon returning to my room, I was delighted to find a delicious birthday cake waiting for me. This thoughtful gesture truly went a long way and epitomized the exceptional service provided by the hotel. I would also like to extend my appreciation to Miss Reem on reception for her warm welcome and efficient service throughout my stay. The InterContinental Semiramis Cairo offers luxurious accommodations, breathtaking views, and a wide range of amenities. However, it's the exceptional staff, like Nevine and Reem, that truly elevates this hotel to a whole new level. They made my birthday stay unforgettable, and I cannot thank them enough.

The hotel was big and clean. The staff were all attentive. Breakfast was a good selection and the outdoor pool was heated as listed

The spa facilities were a let down. Both times the steam room were not on and had to be switched on when asked and this took too long to heat up. The jacuzzi was freezing cold on our second visit. The night and day restaurant is only open alternate days for buffet dinner and this was not made clear

There are more than enough breakfast staff, but unfortunately they are unstructured. You sometimes have to wait forever for cutlery. Young, wealthy Egyptians smoking e-cigarettes in the breakfast room, where the staff lack the assertiveness

Magnificent hotel with the charm of old days and very well maintained. Excellently well trained staff in all its venues. The lounge in the 18th floor is outstanding both in attention to the guest and the quality of the service. The gym, pool and spa, top class

The sound proof in the rooms should be improved, you can hear the noise coming from the late parties in the river boats. Also the music in the lobby (I thinks it’s in the tea room) is unnecessarily loud

The food was incredible. We upgraded our room to include the Lodge Club and it was a smart move. Our flight was scheduled for 2 am and with the new upgrade we checked out at 4 pm, but we were able to utilize the service of the hotel and keep our belongings safe until our departure. I'll definitely book again this hotel in the future.

The swimming pool is only open until 5 pm or 6 pm. We disliked this schedule because our kids wanted to jump in the swimming pool after a long day of exploring Cairo. I hope management can change this absurd schedule.

Very well mantained property, a style of a bygone era but very elegant and everything well kept and well polished. Excellent spa-gym-pool. The lounge in the 18th floor is excellent. Upscale in every respect

A noisy lobby, specially when there is live music in the tea room. The sound proof system in the rooms could be improved, when there is party in the Nile river boats you can hear the noise in the room

The facilities where good, location excellent. It would be nice if they did not allow smoking in the main common areas of th hotel, but I understand this is quite common in the Middle East and is impossible to enforce.

For a 5- star hotel the room was quite small and bath VERY SMALL.

The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff are very polite and friendly. Very quick check in and check out. The check out is at 2pm and I thought it’s at 11am. The lady at reception said that you can stay until 2pm and you don’t have to pay extra. I was ready to leave but I could stay more. The food at the restaurant with desserts are so delicious. Special thanks to Mr Wael who is a great Manager at restaurant to help you to chose your food and giving you the best hospitality . The live music at night around the swimming pool is lovely. The location is a perfect place specially if you want to see the nightlife of Cairo.
