Initially, we booked this hotel since we dreamed of having a pyramid view from our hotel room (for 3 days & 2 nights) As well as the fact that this hotel was built on history. Other than that, I love the spa services. Everything this hotel offers (from diverse breakfast, helpful staff, cleaning services, pools, and the like) seems elegant & lovely.

I'm not sure if it's just me or I noticed the indoor tables were unsanitary (filled with a speck of dust) as we dined for breakfast & lunch in 139 Pavilion. Moreover, when my family ordered 4 plates of spaghetti for lunch, my mom had an unbalanced portion of minced meat. Objectively, I would say 3/4 of minced meat covered the entire meal and there's only 1/4 portion of spaghetti pasta left in it. On the other hand, we asked for a free bed (more than twice) and it didn't arrive that exact day we checked in. It arrived one day before we left.

Big beautiful hotel complex. Has very nice view of pyramids from the breakfast area and my room. Ordered a room service for food and the food was very good with generous portion. Enjoyed a late checkout by 3pm without additional charge(Initially asked me to pay $20/hour for late checkout but the manager graciously waived the charge).

I was not informed of breakfast and SPA facility location on arrival, and there is no such information in the room. We wandered around the next day and noted another couple were also looking around for breakfast location and stairs etc. We eventually found the breakfast at a nice location, but no one offer us coffee or tea etc. The management does not appear to be consistently good. The service for a nice stay seems to be a hit or miss.

The atmosphere in the hotel is amazing... The staff is very knowledgeable, answered all my questions. Location very accessible to the pyramids 💓

I wish the hotel can have someone with no language barrier to administer the PCR test . I almost missed my flight due to his misunderstanding, but i did receive the test the morning of my departure. I could have avoided that stress .

The breakfast buffet was superb. The staff were supremely helpful. The swimming pool was amazing. The view of the pyramids was awesome! A very convenient location from which to visit the Giza pyramids, Saqqara and Dashur!

The pyramids are just a short walk from the hotel. There are people lurking by the hotel front gate who will try to convince you that the entrance to the Pyramids is faaaaaaar away and that you need to engage their services to get there. Don't listen to them! Just a 5 minute walk and you're at the Giza Pyramids ticket office.

The location, the hotel history and the wonderfully friendly staff who clearly enjoy hosting people from all around the world at the fabulous location within view of the Pyramids.

This was our 3rd stay at Mena House! I noticed at times a sudden mass arrival of people for the buffet breakfast. They were clearly non residents and their presence created jams around the food area. I think that breakfast with the Mena House views is a privilege for residents and should not be offered to outsiders rushing in for a 20 minute breakfast. That’s my only criticism. Nothing that we didn’t like! But we look forward to the reopening of the hotel’s ’palace wing’.

The staff will surround you with care and attention, I must note that I do not have any status in the Marriott network, but not even in all Kempinski hotels have I encountered such attention to the guest, especially without special privileges! I also recommend having dinner at Alfredo's restaurant for oven-baked pizza and seafood soup. The chef and restaurant manager are also amazingly responsive and friendly.

Perhaps benches should be placed in the marvelous garden. As it is pleasant to be in this oasis not only during breakfast or dinner in the restaurant on the terrace by the fountain

The location! it is perfect. Minutes from the pyramids. You get outside, walk like 500 meters up and you are right there. If you are planning on doing so - do not listen to the guys outside hotel who tell you need taxi to get to the pyramids. They just want your money. One guy told me it is 6km to get there, in reality just 500 meters. lol. Say thank you and keep walking. Breakfast with the VIEW is amazing. Around 7am not many people eating, so you can snap fantastic photos. Swimming pool is nice. I tried Italian and Indian restaurant, both are ok. I felt very SAFE in hotel, everything around is a ghetto.

I did not like the way I was treated by reception staff. Lots of promises with no results. I checked in on the 2nd floor with two double beds, but requested king bed. Ahmed I believe (tall, young guys) promised a room with king bed on the fourth floor by 9pm same day. He also promised me reservation at 7:30 for the best table at the breakfast. He received $20 tip for his promises. Unfortunately at 9pm I came to reception to find out Ahmed is done for today and nobody knew about his promises. I stayed in the same room and had to move beds myself. Breakfast of course does not take any reservation. I was there by 7:30 and lots of tables available. Pick the best. I just do not get the point of promises when you know you cannot keep them. I was very upset about the staff.

The Marriott Mean House exceeded all our expectations! We booked a Deluxe Pyramid Premium Room, and though we paid extra for this upgrade, it was worth every dollar. Waking up to such a magical sight from our window was unforgettable. The rooms were comfortable, impeccably clean, and featured a spacious balcony. The breakfast was exceptional, offering numerous options of delicious and high-quality food. I particularly loved the Egyptian breakfast. We also enjoyed a wonderful Italian restaurant on-site. The staff was attentive and accommodating, they really went above and beyond to make every guest's stay as comfortable as possible . While we didn't have the chance to use the pool due to our January stay, it looked beautiful. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with our experience. This hotel is truly one of a kind, and we would love to return to Cairo and Giza just to stay here again

We booked the Deluxe Pyramid Premium Room and initially, the first room we were offered did have a view of the Pyramids, but unfortunately, a giant palm tree obstructed the view. It was disappointing to encounter this, so we requested a room change promptly. Thankfully, we were able to find another room with an unobstructed view. However, I would kindly suggest to the management to consider replacing tall palms blocking the full view with smaller trees. After all, guests pay a significant amount per night for the privilege of enjoying the Pyramids from their windows, not obstructed by palm trees
