Lovely pool and gardens, and 4 different dining options. Staff friendly and efficient. Good comprehensive breakfast. Rooms facing the Nile have stunning views. Rooms facing the inner foyer or the street would be noisy.

The pool guy needs to calm down a bit. The pool closes at sunset but he starts packing up umbrellas and cushions well before this, and the minute the sun dips below the horizon he chases everyone away from the pool, as if we're a gross nuisance to him. No sundowners for you I'm afraid.

Excellent hotel! This hotel is a gem in Egypt. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and secure in Luxor. The staff was helpful. Overall Excellent hotel. Can you believe they leave a bottle of water everyday to your room (1.5 lt water)? I stayed in Egypt for a month and iberotel was the only hotel that provided a water to their guest everyday. It was clean , secure and safe hotel. Stronly recommend!

I'm a pretty picky hotel guest and I liked just about everything about this place: the friendly security at the front entrance; the surprisingly spacious and welcoming atrium; the excellent breakfast buffet and made-to-order dinners; the five-star grounds and swimming pool; the setting on the Nile itself; the comfortable and well-appointed room. Even though it is highly unlikely that I'll make it back to Luxor, if I ever were to do so I'd check for reservations here before trying any other place. Additional tips for future travelers: (1) Luxor Temple is an easy .4 mile walk away, best visited in the morning when the sun is on the front pylons. (2) Luxor Museum is less than a mile down the Nile Corniche. (3) Say "no" to the carriage drivers and taxis if you're at all inclined to walk around -- it is a very nice walk and you shouldn't let them deprive you of it just because of their hassle. (4) Taxis will fleece you at the airport (and if there are more of them than there are arriving passengers in need, demand will allow them to charge an outrageous 400-500 EP), but 200 EP is a generous sum for the journey back and frankly the trip into Luxor from the airport should not cost more than that either. 200 EP for round trip from Iberotel to Karnak temple should suffice; 600 EP should get you a driver for a full day of sightseeing on the West Bank (Ramesseum, Medinat Habu, Deir el-Medina -- or, if you prefer, just the Ramesseum and the Valley of the Kings and Queens). There is a well-stocked supermarket on a main street running east from the entrance to the Luxor Temple. Make use of it for inexpensive water (1.5 liter bottles were 5 EP each!), sodas, snacks.

Honesty, I have only one complaint -- the water pressure in the shower was way too low. But for all the good points of the hotel, I'd stay here again and deal with a dribbly shower.

Lovely location on the Nile river. Terrace and garden at rear was a nice place to sit as the sun went down. Breakfast was ok, we weren't offered any kind of table service even for coffee.

Limited breakfast. Buffet style, so help yourself, but expected a little table service for coffee? Ordered dinner in the evening and when it finally arrived it was lovely, BUT it took over 1 1/2 hrs to arrive. Think it was a genuine error and that our order had been forgotten, but even when we asked how much longer it would be it took another 40 mins to arrive.

This is such a wonderful hôtel 😍 in a very good location, less than 10 minutes of walk to Louxor Temple. Everything was just excellent 👌. The hotel is beautiful and clean, with a wonderful view on the Nile, a beautiful garden, swimming pool, ... Room was perfect and very clean. The staff was nice and always available👍 Breakfast also was excellent 👌

Nice comfortable room with heating which was important as we were there in Jan (winter). Bathroom was clean and well maintained. All amenities provided with good tv channels. We had the Nile view room and it was truly lovely view from balcony overlooking the front courtyard. The breakfast buffet was really good and service was also very good. Excellent hotel, no complains. Laundry is also reasonably priced and was really quick. The location is also good, it is walking distance to the main area and from train station.

When we asked about local tours they gave us some really exorbitantly priced options. We booked elsewhere. When we enquired about taxi to airport they gave us a rate without explaining it includes the parking fee so we thought it was really expensive, but it wasn't.
