The staff are excellent.. huge hotel by the nile .. very clean .. big spacious rooms .. great location

The room toilets & switches seemed a little dated but not a major concern at all. Breakfast has many items but probably can improve in variety

Terrific view of the Nile River. Italian and Asian restaurant and cafe on the premise. Pool area offers snacks from restaurants. Breakfast buffet has a fair amount of options. Location is walkable to the market about 25mins. Laundry and grocery stores are close by also. There is a jewelry shop in the lobby and a small catch all shop toward the pool area. WiFi was horrible. The only place to get reception was the 6-8 chairs in the center of the lobby. This property has many weddings each day 2-3 so there are a lot of people using the WiFi any given day. Your better option is to visit one of the coffee shops in the area.

I chose this hotel due to its relative proximity to the University of Luxor where I had my conference, but it is some distance from Luxor's tourist attractions. Depending on your bargaining skills you could get a ride to Luxor Temple for 50 - 100 EGP (= $2-$3, November 2023). It is a huge hotel presumably intended to serve tour groups, The grey-painted cavernous lobby is a bit off-putting but the wonderful garden and two swimming pools are very enjoyable. The location right on the bank of the Nile is top notch and having a room on the riverside is a must. I spent every morning and evening on the balcony sipping tea and watching the sunrise (metaphorically as the room faced west) and sunset on the West Bank of the Nile. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was large and equipped with a safe and a kettle with tea bags placed daily by the cleaning staff. I certainly enjoyed my stay.

Except for breakfast, the quality of food at dinner buffet or in the Italian restaurant was very average. Wi-fi, as other reviewers noted, is very weak in the rooms. The bathroom was a bit worn.

A nice hotel, great rooms and gardens with nice pool. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very easy to get to tourist sites.

Breakfast was terrible. The breakfast was the worst food I have seen at a hotel breakfast. We have stayed at other pyramisa hotels in egypt and the food options are the same just cooked much better. If they train the chefs and waitstaff this hotel will be a 10 out of 10. If you are stuck for food the steigenburger hotel next door has excellent food for the same price as pyramisa

I liked the scenery, balcony, room cleaning persons were polite, nice bed decoration appeared on the other bed that I did not use. When I could not have access with my computer to internet and no IT person was available so late, Ali Moussa and Sameh Fayez helped and could solve the problem. Thanks to their kindness.

I expected to have an internet connection in the room in a 4-star hotel like this. The rooms are somewhat worn out but all working and clean as mentoined above. Missed a restaurant with a menu option; I did not want a buffet in the evening (costly for just a little eating). The Italian restaurant was reserved for some wedding party, so I couldn't get there for a small eating. Almost every evening there were some wedding groups, so I had my dinners in another place.

Good location overlooking the Nile and close to city centre. Clean rooms and bathrooms; clean linen. Nice rooms with balcony. Main restaurant is good with decent food spread and preparation including a large breakfast buffet. Helpful staff making every effort to please.

Facilities are bit old and need better maintenance (e.g - water pressure in bathrooms is very low....we had 2 rooms and it was low in both). The Italian restaurant needs to up its level on food and drinks preparation.

The staff was very considerate (as we needed to apply some changes), super friendly, and courteous. Pyramisa in our case was the best value we could get for money and a good choice for its proximity to our cruise ship. In the morning, it was easy to check out of the cruise and check into the hotel and get on with our visits. We got an excellent driver (Hussein: +201020017194) from in front of the hotel as well. A young and polite local with a clean and well equipped car who accompanied us all day for a reasonable price.

There is always room for improving the installations but it was good value.

Good sunset view of the Nile River. Hotel upgraded us for free to a room with view of the Nile. The manager, Ali Moussa, and the reception desk staff were all very nice and helpful.

We had half board but no drinks were included, even water at dinner time and it was not stated in the website. As a suggestion, water should at least be included at dinner time. The cleaning staff were not very efficient. On 2 occasions, they forgot to leave towels in the room. We tried to ring the reception to have it delivered to our room but no one picked up. We had no choice but to go to reception to get the towels late at night.

The staff is very nice and accommodating. We got a room upgrade which is so nice from our host and the cot we asked for without having to go back and forth arranging was done quite well. Very good job. The room is very good and really comfortable. Location is good. Im confortable to recommend this plcae to other people if staing in Luxor.

Swimming pool is not heated. New Years party too expensive to join. And not what its worth. While the staff is very nice, I was not properly greeted by staff who gave us the room and explained everything. It was as if only my wife was there, and Im invisible. Ignored. Almost funny. Food is ok. Breakfast only eggs are good. But the guy working on the eggs making, the older one, he was rude and was disrespectful to me. I could have reported it, but I decided not to waste my time.
