The location was excellent, being close to Downtown, the Dubai Mall, and the Burj Khalifa. A taxi to these places would cost around 40 DHM. The JBR and Marina area are a 30-40 minute drive away. Overall, I loved my stay with them. There were some issues with the room's electrical system, but these were promptly addressed. I was on holiday with my family, including my 8-month-old child. He enjoyed the stay, and I felt comfortable. The staff was helpful. Anton, the front office manager, is a great guy. He upgraded our room, recognizing that we would need more space with an 8-month-old. Gundu in the room service department was also fantastic. A big shout-out to everyone else on the staff as well. Breakfast needs upgrade / It's same everyday - If you are staying for longer days - Can't have same stuff everyday.

Aloft Hotels is a hotel chain, owned by Marriott International. hotel has big room with coffee machine and kettle (if you want) & Very friendly and helpful staff in reception and breakfast salon. hotel has 6 floor, and roof pool and night bar in roof that it is noisy!! so we stay in lower floor! you can ask staff for everything that you need (sleepers, coffee capsule, soap, tooth brush and etc.) and it will be ready in 5 min.

location is far from everything, but they have shuttle service to go to Dubai mall and airport (3 times daily). and if you use “CAREEM” app, it will help you to take taxi and order food.

My stay at the hotel was by and large good to very good. Staff is very very friendly and helpful, they try to fulfill all wishes. The room was good and clean. Breakfast is awesome, you have everything you need. I spent a lot of time in the evening in the sport bar 1/2Walnut, which is part of the hotel. These three female phillipine service staff made my stay there very pleasant. Very very friendly, love doing their job very well. Thank you and hope to see you soon. Rooftop pool is very nice, mostly a little too crowded with people but was ok. Beautiful view to the city downtown, especially in the evening with the beautiful lights. But the pool is only open from 07.00 in the morning to 19.00 in the evening. Downtown is only 15min away by cab, 90min by foot. All beaches are within 15-30min by car. - Great staff: we stayed during high season, but staff tried to do their best to accommodate all the guest (i.e. we got an extra bed for 3rd person when we had an extra person arrive, water bottles were replenished out of schedule if needed) and was extremely friendly. Well done. - Good breakfasts: didn’t expect much based on others’ reviews, but I actually enjoyed breakfasts. Not much variety day to day, but you probably won’t get bored with the menu during a week-long stay and they have all the basics (like omelletes, vegetables and fruits, desserts) covered. - Good rooftop pool with quality view: pool was hot enough to swim quite comfortably swim in late December, great view of Dubai Downtown and they had decent cocktails at the lounge area right next to the pool. The only issue is the lounge area is somewhat small, so may be challenging to find open seats there if you come later in the afternoon. - Quality rooms: comfy beds, big flat-screen TV with Chromecast (we couldn’t get it to stream from a browser though), table to do some work if needed and so on - 24/7 fitness: they had all the essentials there, so you won’t have to skip your workouts - nice lobby touch: they had billiards and a really big TV showing football matches near the lobby - Amazing value for money: for 3 guests the price was absolutely unbeatable, but for 2 or 4 guests it gets more tricky with other hotels being competitive.

- potentially loud music at night: we stayed at 6th floor and right under the pool: at night music from the rooftop (pretty much 7th floor) would get quite loud till around 1 or 2 am (not as loud as waking you up, but you can definitely understand what song is playing now :) ); if you would like complete silence, ask for a lower level room. - challenging logistics (compared to some other hotels): depending on your ability to keep to schedule, get ready to potentially spend some money on taxis due to location (metro pretty much is not an option) if you want to be as flexible as possible; however, the hotel still offers transfers to the beach and the Mall, so if you keep to the schedule, it will be free.

The staff are excellent. Very kind and generous people that do all they can to make sure you have a wonderful experience. Customer experience is the most important when it comes to hotels and Aloft Al Mina does that well. There’s a reason why we’ve come back here for the second year running.

Balcony view can sometimes not be pleasant depending the room you receive. I also found the breakfast wasn’t really varied that much compared to the breakfast I was having last year.

Everything was exceptional. Well looked after by the staff, always ready to help. Amazing staff. We got to the hotel at 4am, our checking wasn’t till 3pm. But the lovely staff, quickly got a room ready for us. Raymond offered us breakfast even tho our check in was later. He’s a lovely person Zakar was amazing and guided us to all the best places to view and shop at. He made our trip easy. The hotel is doing really well with all the staff contributing and giving its guest the best experience. Definitely 10/10 Will definitely come back. ☺️

staff is very friendly and nice! the atmosphere they create is very nice💪🏼 especially Sona!🙂 welcome water was brought all the time, unlimited number of it. coffee corner was perfect. window curtains that protect room from a day light fully blackout the room. ALSO we had a birthday there - team made us a surprise with a cake and candle during the breakfast🔥 but I informed about it before. coffee machine during the breakfast - perfect decision cause it produced delicious cappuccino. not the one that fully automated🙂 open roof top also is a nice chance to spend cute evening with your couple 20 min walk - distance from the nearest metro (ADCB) 8 min walk - closest McDonald’s on a gas station facility to use computer, high speed internet, printer. free buses to the airport, Dubai mall and La mer beach will make your life easier

the first opinion is very cool but if you stay for a longer time - some tiny non crucial troubles you can face with. couple of times were problems with light and water, btw any case was immediately solved. great job guys💪🏼 breakfast could be a bit different from day to day. it was more like a dinner😅 bathrobes were forgotten to be brought couple of times.

I highly recommend this hotel! Everything from the room, the cleanliness, the breakfast and the staff, everything is amazing! Every morning you will be greated with big smiles from the staff at the restaurant. And every time you go out the wave you goodbye and even helps you get a taxi. One of the key factors of this hotel is the location. It is about 10-15 minutes from downtown area and easily accessible to everything. When you book a taxi, it arrives within a minute. Two minutes walk from the hotel you find both a hospital which is convenient when travelling if you get sick. And there is also smaller restaurants to grab a quick bite. But if you are in a hurry I recommend you to eat at the hotel restaurant which actually serves great food. Your room will be cleaned for you every day if you'd wish and sometimes the staff feels extra cheeky and leaves you a little surprise in the room of towel figurines which is always fun. Bonus: you will never need to buy water because they provide you with a bunch of water bottles in your room complimentary. Big shoutout to the lovely Sona working in the restaurant. She always made sure that we were happy with everything and she also makes the best drinks and coffees. You will be lucky to be served by her!

The only downside for our stay was that there were construction around our hotel which made it difficult for taxis to pick us up. But that is of course not the hotels fault. I am really happy with everything they provided us with.

Food and staff service was excellent - couldn't fault any of this at all.

The interior of the property looks like it needs an uplift - walls are scratched and looking tired. The TV's in the rooms do not work properly - always buffering. The top floor of the hotel, where the bar and swimming pool are located, is in poor condition and is requiring a revamp. Two of the toilets do not have locks and one was not working at all (looked like it had been out of action for a while). The bar staff were excellent and provided a fabulous service. Overall the hotel is OK.

We had a lovely room, clean, blackout blinds were amazing! The AC wasn’t too overpowering. The breakfast selection was so interesting. Staff were all so nice, always friendly & smiling. Anton the lifeguard stands out, Barbara in the restaurant & Shashi at the front desk but they’re all great!

Obviously, the roadworks outside are a pain but nothing to do with the hotel & they actually became a beacon for us when driving back! The moon crescent at the pool needs a mend, very shabby! Otherwise-nothing!
