Pillows were not the best. Bed was ok. When I was checking in the guy asked me if it was ok to make a copy of my license and credit card. I asked why and he said it was because they want to keep it for their records. I don’t know why I said it was OK. It’s been bothering me ever since I should of said no. Is this something that they ask of everyone?? Is it policy?? Other hotels that I check into have never asked me that before. I hope I didn’t do the wrong thing.

All is great with the hotel itself. The only issue is with the neighborhood around. It’s very dirty, nothing to see, no places to eat (except of cheap Korean food) or even get a coffee nearby, didn’t feel safe to walk in the evenings.

Hotel appears to be recently remodeled and is nicer than I expected, especially for the price. Room was very clean, staff very friendly, and plenty of parking in an underground lot which felt safe. The bathroom was really nice, and the shower wasn't just the typical tub, it was walk-in with nice tile and glass partition. For us, the location was central to the places we wanted to visit, so getting around was fairly quick, within reason in Los Angeles, that is. It's very close to The Wiltern event venue, which was initially why we chose Hotel Aventura. Also there is a great Oaxacan restaurant two blocks down called Guelaguetza!

Not a huge deal, but would have liked washcloths in addition to the different towels, but we didn't ask for them either and assumed they weren't offered.

Wonderful staff! Security guards made me feel extra safe along with the very attentive and friendly staff! Housekeeping even made our beds while we were out which was great!

Didn’t have wash clothes but was very quick to find other options they could provide for me!

- Room was very clean, with room service every day - Staff were friendly and helpful - Parking very good, convenient, safe and free! - Location was situated well in K-Town, it was a little further from the main restaurants but only by a few minutes.

- Wasn't much not to like :)

Coffee machine to complicated to use and more for a 40yr old lady to strong the flavors for us

I didn't felt comfortable when the staff asked me if she can make photocopy of my credit card and ID. I eventually asked to have the photocopy of them back since I did not want to risk identity theft.

The property was very clean. The beds were very comfortable, and the quality of the mattress was very good. The showers were really nice, I liked that they did not have the curtain and instead a glass wall. The AC worked very well and the rooms did NOT smell like your topical hotel room; they usually smells old and kept in, but this hotel did not. The staff was friendly and welcomed us each time we entered the lobby. Check in out was quick and easy. Not sure whether breakfast was offered as we left as soon as we could for other plans. Otherwise, a great stay!
