It smelled great! I enjoyed the staff’s attitude what warm & inviting group of people. For them alone I’d come back.

Firstly, I was a little concerned about some neglected upkeep nothing major. The room felt a bit dated. Drapes could use some refreshing. A few of my outlets in my room didn’t work. My comforter had burn holes. I’m not sure from what, so I won’t try to guess, but that wasn’t a good look. Secondly, the hot water pressure/ temperature was lacking a bit. Lastly, I didn’t like that the facility could accommodate breakfast, but did not provide an included breakfast option.

Not enough luggage carts for checking in/out!! Only 2 for entire hotel. There were two lights/lamps with burned out light bulbs in my room!! Towel bar at sink fell off the wall when I reached for a hand towel. The bathtub surface has no mat nor anything to keep from being very slippery!! Very dangerous!! Mini fridg had cooling issues!! Had hand towel laying on a shelf to keep water from dripping from freezer part!! This Sonesta has changed ownership. The new owners are not too concerned with repairs, normal necessities or any nice amenities!! Their real glasses are no longer provided for drinking from & replaced with very cheap paper thin plastic cups!! Not like it used to b a year ago!! Declined!!

The washer/dryer needs to b cleaned, maintained. Very unsanitary. Dryer lint vent on door completely packed with handfuls of lint, etc. fire hazard!! There are 2 luggage carts for this property. Extremely hard to ever find/use one!! One of days I was there a company came to blow off parking lot and other areas. My auto had just been hand washed & detailed!! Got covered n dirt, dust and leaves!! Leaves were even blown all over auto!! Property refused to have my H3 cleaned!! No fresh coffee available in lobby @ 8:30 a. M.!! No creamers for guests to b used in room w/coffee maker there.

The front desk staff was super polite and helpful, no matter the time of day. I got replacement towels and wash clothes and toiletries that I forgot without hesitation. Check in and check out was quick and seamless. The room was a expected. I loved the mirrors in the bathroom area of the room! I also liked the easy to use wall A/C controls instead of using controls on the A/C itself and it worked properly.

I didn't like the room placement right beside an exit door. That was a little noisy. It made me think someone was coming into my room. I also didn't understand why there aren't any microwaves available but I didn't see them in the list of amenities in the site so I already knew that before staying.

The staff was very friendly, caring, and professional . The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful my overall experience at the Sonesta was very positive. Best of all was the attentive front desk associates.

I did not like spending 4 days without having fresh towels, having the trash emptied, general room service. I did, however, find the front desk associates to be exceptionally accommodating when I requested some coffee for the room and a light in the bsthroom.

The close proximity to the Carter Finley stadium. The cost was not outrageous just because there was a football game going on that weekend. It was fairly quiet the whole time I was at the hotel. I liked the fact that I could have my dog with me.

The only thing I didn't like was that there were no USB ports to be found in the room. I couldn't charge my phone while in the room.

Excellent hotel for short stays. Easily accessed from the highway. I enjoyed the amenities and my room selection. The room was very clean, fresh, and comfortable. The receptionists were vibrant and friendly, making my check-in a breeze since I had a rescheduled meeting to attend on my arrival. My room was quiet and the helpstaff was efficient as they serviced the floor. Although the ice machine nearest me (by the elevator) didn't work, I had no problem using the other one on my floor. Check out was equally easy and pleasant - friendly service and other guests in the lobby.

My inability to enter the side door at end of the building (using the room cardkey) nearest my room. Although inconvenient for my need, I understand that security is paramount.

Great location. Very quiet area but still close to many options for dining and shopping.

Like so many other hotels these days, it suffered from the fact that a lot of marijuana smokers think the "No Smoking" policy only applies to cigarettes. There was a consistent smell of pot in the hallway leading to our room and occasionally the smell would drift into our room causing us to open the balcony door on cold evenings.

Convenience to NCCU campus. My room smelled amazing. Like scented oils or incense.

The bathroom wasn't as clean as it should be. I found a fishing hook and a phone case in the night stand draw which means it wasn't inspected and cleaned. No breakfast option. The coffee didn't have flavored cream options. If no breakfast, at least a decent coffee bar would be nice. The hotel promotes non-smoking but feet from the front desk smelled of cigarettes and my floor smelled like weed smoke. Its definitely a smoking property.

very very clean in all parts of hotel!!

no microwave in room radio had a static & volume control issues paying $100 on card rather than in cash. it has taken me over 45 days to get one deposit refunded. at the present time I’m waiting on 2 more $100 refunds to b posted to my account. the wait time is quoted as 3-5 or 5-10 business days depending on the bank. neither is true for my transactions. this is going to prevent me from returning there to stay again.
