the room was cozy and very comfortable. , with what i needed for my stay.

i did not like the fact the pool and hot tub was out of order due to renovations being made. that was one of the main reasons i had chose to stay at your hotel, along with its location. that was very disappointing to me to find out one of my main reasons for choosing your establishment was void due to something i was not made aware of. i was also informed by the front desk clerk, i wasn't the only guest who had been unaware of the indoor pool and hot tub closing. it is not listed on the booking site. however, i made due.

We travel to this location every summer to visit the beach. Noticed some slight changes because of Covid but would still visit next year.

Housekeeping does not take trash or swap out dirty towels daily, we kept running out of clean towels and had to ask for more at the front desk. They complied but were sarcastic first. This was a bit annoying. I realize Covid has probably impacted housekeeping regulations. It would have just been nice to receive the clean towels without the extra comments.

Our room was big. We booked the King suite with 1 room inside. In the room, they have everything, fridge, stove, coffe maker, toaster, oven, dish washer, and all the things needed are there. I and my family enjoyed staying there because of the pool and spa. They have also guest laundry where you can wash your clothes. And it is free breakfast. Their breakfast is amazing. Really good food!.

I loved the breakfast 😋. Everything was very neat. The staff was very polite at every corner. Whenever you need something they are on it attending to you as if you are the only tenant. It was great. Every other guest I spoke to was enjoying themselves. I met several people and they all felt the same after staying at staybridge it's like a home away from home that you dont have to stress about.

Honestly there is only a nit-picking thing i could offer and that may be having some breakfast items made to order like the eggs but that would be to much on the staff. The cooks were phenomena. Again it was wonderful. Its honestly nothing i didn't like.

We stayed here on bookend of our NC vacation to use the Norfolk Airport. The full kitchen is great. We used it for a full meal one night. Adequate space for family with three adult children. Free laundry incredible! Plenty of washers and dryers. Nice to have use of BBQ and firepit outside. Housekeeping responsive and quick with needs. Breakfast in the AM adequate. Greeted warmly in the morning!

Gross, gross, gross! The BBQ and firepit areas are also a place people are allowed to smoke! We could not enjoy the outdoor area because of the repulsive cigarette smoke. We just had to BBQ and get the heck out. Indoor pool is stuffy. Gym pretty sparse.

Clean, good breakfast. Kitchennete in the room was well stuffed. Relatively close to Virginia Beach, around 30 mins driving. It's close to Norfolk city too, 20 mins driving.

Not all washers and dryers were functional. Actually only few of them were working. SPA not hot enough and it was closed from time to time.

I LIKE the decor of the hotel, everything looked fresh and clean. I loved the size of the room. The room was cold and a maintenence men came quickly to adjust temperature. Asked for a blanket and the same staff person bought that quickly and asked if we needed anything else. The breakfast was delicious. Loved our stay ❤️

Most hotels have a extra blanket and pillow in the closet. But having full size soap and lotion was a super plus.

Breakfast was amazing , and beds were super clean and comfortable. Rooms were clean at a glance but a deep clean is necessary. overall it’s a great hotel with excellent staff at an amazing location.

Ran into a couple of roaches not a big deal. Since I stayed for 5 days and cooked twice a day I felt like the room needed more ventilating.

The staff was great. The property was good. The only thing is I need it off first floor and I got a second floor room because I have a service dog I guess but I didn’t really would like our first floor room this time.

The hotel had everything we needed. Our stay was for 3 days and 3 nights. Although, we were mostly out for the day, we were happy to get back to the hotel for the evening. The room we had was a good size but I was mostly pleased that there was a fully equipped kitchen. We didn't have to cook but it was good to know you have one if you needed to heat up food. The beds were very comfortable (most pleasant hotel sleeps we've had for this trip) and pillows were fluffy. I love the bathroom essentials and I wish all other hotels would offer the same paraben free shower gels and hair products. (Not to mention the non disposable plastic dispensers, I also wish hotels start doing that for less plastic usage. The staff were very accommodating and warm and always very helpful. If there is a ongoing training for hotel personnel I'd send hotel staffs to Staybridge and tell them to learn from the best. Extras I completed appreciated and wish all hotels were the same: Laundry, exceptional staff, tasty and well prepared inclusive breakfast, clean bathrooms 5 stars for this hotel
