Great location near King Street

Nothing is included – not even the bottles of water in the room! I felt like I was nickel and dime-d. $2.50 for water, $10 for breakfast, $37 for parking, etc. The public should know that the price they’re paying for this room is not their end price.

I love the stuff at the front desk name Georgette.She was so sweet when we checked in.It was a slight problem with our room not being serviced before we arrived and Georgette took care of that situation while we went to Walmart to pick up a few things.When we arrived back to the Marriott from Walmart Georgette accommodated us with dinner for two while we stayed at the Marriott on behalf of the hotel.We never got around to the dinner for me and my wife because we was enjoying Virginia.My wife and I really thought that was nice of her to even offer us that because of the situation with our room.Georgette overall was amazing and helpful to our needs at the time of our stay.Also not to mention Georgette helped get the bed I asked the front desk for to be delivered to my room at the Marriott.I will be looking for forward to seeing her at the front desk with that welcome back smile on her face in November. . .

It’s nothing I didn’t like at the Marriott.

The staff was awesome!! There was also a free snack hour which was nice and we didn't know about initially. They also had live singing which was great. The room was nice, very clean and the bed was super comfortable. I told the staff, I will definitely be back. It was also centrally located to several activities at Waterside. There was a parking garage nearby which only cost $16 overnight if you chose not to use valet.

Customer service at the front desk was poor. We stayed at this hotel last year and the service was impeccable. This year unfortunately not so much. We didn't feel welcomed, more like we were a nuisance. Also, we were informed that valet parking for $35 is our "only" option. However, the associate at the valet station then informed us that we could choose between valet parking or the parking garage which was $20 cheaper.

The dinner was a amazing a side from the dessert though that was just cause I wasn't as in to chocolate as I thought. While in my room I was able to get on my YouTube on the provided TV super fast.

The door to my wasn't aligned right making have to put some real effort into actually closing it completely. Oh and booking.com did confuse me about the location of the hotel cause did even know it was downtown til I found my confirmation.

Chris in parking was great. When I spoke he listened and treated me with respect. He was a hustler and to me an asset to what and who you want representing your business!

That I need my car at 5:30pm. I told the attendants 90 minutes in advance and I was still late for my reservation! 🤬. The men on duty both blamed each other and while one walked away and the other kept calling me chief!

Property was great! But NEVER use Booking.com to book anything!

Horrible. Booking.com experience was the worst I have ever had in any travel experience of my life. Having been to over 17 countries, I can assure you I will NEVER use this company again and I HIGHLY recommend you use a different company when booking your travels!

There was a fraudulent charge on my partners credit card. We used the card for the security deposit when we checked in. That is the ONLY time we used it during our one night stay. When he got home and checked his statement there were charges from the bar or restaurant that were not from us. We called to try to get the charge removed and got told a manager would call us back. Didn't happen. After trying to call back several times with no response we chalked it up as a loss. Warning to others that stay here - make sure you check your credit card statement when you leave for the card used to check in. My guess is they allowed someone else at the bar to charge our room without verifying identity.

Great location. Easy to get around. Great relaxed atmosphere. Food and drinks were great. All staff were very helpful.

I am handicapped. Your handicap accessibilities were good however we needed a wheelchair for my mother in law. The one we were afforded was barely usable…..The pricing of the rooms were very high. Understand it was Harborfest.

The breakfast buffet was very good and the dining staff were excellent. The property was well kept and clean. Overall it was a very nice hotel and I would return. The views from my room were great. Loved that it overlooked the water.

The young man that checked us into the hotel was very indifferent. When asking questions about the property it was like talking to a zombie and he acted as though it was a bother to assist us.
