Location was great and food was good, we had a move of room after our 1st night to a room that we had requested

Restaurant service, a lot of staff doing little eg not clearing and resetting tables and taking food/drink orders

We decided to do half denerau and half here to use as a base for trips to keep costs low. Does what it says on the tin. Yup it's dated, and the photos need updating, the bathrooms are pretty basic, this is on par with a motel. Beds were comfy, room was a good size, AC, balcony and a pool. Kids were perfectly happy with this pool and as the room looked down on it, we allowed them down by themselves, which you couldn't do in denerau. Good location with plenty of food options and a cheap 24/7 mart across the road ($1 ice blocks), and a supermarket and mall just down the road. Food was at least 30-40% cheaper than denerau. People staying here were friendlier as well.

Pool needed the tiles cleaned and the pool deck needs replacing - lots of loose nails. Not many loungers, though people came and went so we did get them, not enough umbrellas. Worst part was the dirt tracks around the pool from the pool to the stairs as this got tracked into the room. Coffee average - better coffee in the KPMG building across the road

We loved our 4 nights at Mercure! The staff were lovely and overall we felt that it was good value for money. We highly rated the restaurant and bar, all the food and cocktails we had were incredible and very well priced. It was also lovely and quiet during the day which made it easy to enjoy a book by the pool. Would definitely recommend staying here to others!

Only complaints are that the air con was set and you had no control over it, and that the toilet in our room didn’t flush well.

I'm a big one for reading reviews before I choose accommodation, and have not been disappointed! Room was large, clean, comfy and well maintained. Bed was super comfy. Good A/C. Nice and quiet. Location great for airport access (~10 mins) and I never noticed the planes coming in/out. Also perfect location for a Nadi stopover en route to the islands via Port Denarau, which I did (and can't recommend enough!). Heads up - the Wailoala Beach nearby is not very nice at all. Go to the islands for the good beaches. Within 5 mins walking distance there's also a large supermarket, HFC Bank if you need money changed, and a good selection of restaurants up and down the main road. The food at Fijian Hut restaurant was delicious! The spa was great and Mary gave me one of the best - and strongest - deep tissue massages I've ever had! (And I'm a regular for firm deep tissue massage in Aus). Good breakfast buffet included. Didn't eat at the restaurant otherwise, but it's a lovely outdoor covered seating space where you can just sit back and relax and watch over the pool area. Pool is a bit on the small size but didn't matter, it was well maintained and a refreshing swim. Relaxing on the sunchairs and cabana beds and hammocks was particularly lovely!

I think it would be convenient if they reestablished the airport transfers :) Getting a taxi isn't a problem but a pre-organised transfer is one less hassle!

The conditions of the rooms at the Mercure Hotel Nadi, Fiji, could definitely be improved. Personally, I found the room lacking in comfort, as there was only one seat without a table, forcing us to bring outdoor furniture inside just to have a place to sit and relax. Additionally, the bed wasn't as comfortable as I had hoped, which made it a bit challenging to get a good night's sleep. Overall, while the hotel has potential, these aspects could use some attention for a more enjoyable stay.

Location was excellent for us we like to eat out at local places. Room was large and AC was very effective, NOT set at a stupidly low figure. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They showed the Perth 7's on the TV which was a bonus for us. The food was okay, particularly the Chicken & Sweetcorn soup. Pool was very pleasant - maybe a few more umbrellas for shade would be better. The music on Fridays and Saturdays was very good, wide choice of music and sung well.

The hotel could do with some TLC, it is a bit tired in places; but there is obviously some work being done as painting around the place was in progress. Need to be aware that the room cleaning is not always done in the morning, for us more often in the afternoon around 3pmish.

THE STAFF! They were absolutely amazing and so helpful with everything. We loved the location close to the airport and food places near by. Those Fijian BBQ across from the Mercure, chefs kiss. If we weren’t eating out Mercure dinner menu always hit the spot. From the creamy garlic to the pork chops and the burger was absolutely amazing!! Shoutout to the chef that always made our omelette for us. She always got started when she seen us coming aha. Ofa Atu, From the two Tongan girls that always ordered Rummm and coke every night 😂 Y’all don’t joke around when it comes to your rum Fiji Rum all the way 🇫🇯

Not much to dislike about our stay here. We only needed a place to sleep and shower as we were always out and about exploring places.

Ground floor unit as requested, opened out onto the grass and pool area. Covered walkway to the semi enclosed dining / bar area, great because lte January is rainy and stormy as well as hot and humid. Real tropical feel as this too overlooks the beautiful gardens and pool area. Staff were all happy and cheerful and eager to help with inquiries. Taxis available, bus at the frontage, General store next door covered all of our needs including a great variety of good wines. Atm there and also great people in the travel / tour desk inside the Mecure, Va you are a treasure;)

We stayed at the mercure to be closer to the airport for our very early morning flight. We wished we had stayed a few nights instead of just the 1 Great location, great hotel overall. Food was delicious and well priced. Loved that the pool was available to swim in till 10am as the resort we stayed in for the week had a curfue of 7pm! The staff were nice. Special mention to the gentleman who helped us with our bags. We travelled with a group of 23 so you can imagine our luggage qty and number of rooms. He was great. As well as the hotel staff who checked us all in.

Very minor but Our rooms weren't quite ready at check in and given our numbers we were all waiting around reception for a wee while with restless kids. But once we were in our room and settled, no issues

I like that Aircon can be left on all the time gives guests a comfortable stay as Fiji heat can be hot. Loved the hammocks and pool, extremely love the fact that there’s always a security guarding and patrolling around the property making guests feel that they’re in a safe place. Loved that the officer /security at front gate always helpful directing the guests to what they need. Housekeepers and all cleaners and all staff maintained the property very well.

1) That the pool doesn’t have guarding gates for child safety purposes. It would’ve been nice to maybe look at putting a child gate safety for little kids or create a way where kids cannot access the pools without an adult. 2) The outdoor area where you can sit and eat/dine at….close by the pool not the actual dinning area……but the wooden deck area seems that wooden boards are old and softening feels unsafe and needs fixing and repairing or replacing wood boards to make it a lot safer for everyone.
