The staff were brilliant. Very helpful and accommodating. They were friendly and responded well to various issues which cropped up during my stay. They seemed genuinely interested in myself and other colleagues and making sure that we had what we needed. The bed was really comfortable and I slept well after a long and complicated set of long haul flights.

The facilities could do with updating. There is ample evidence that the hotel used to have shops, a coffee bar and a busy conference centre of meeting rooms, but they are all empty now which leaves an impression of abandonment which is at odds with the friendliness of the staff.

Super convenient location and very affordable. We only needed to sleep the night in Fiji and this hotel is right by the airport. It took us less than 10 minutes to walk from arrivals to the hotel. If walking with luggage, I'd recommend using the footpath along Queens Road rather than walking on the minor road (no footpath). The staff were very friendly and accommodating, even carrying my suitcases upstairs. The hotel is simple and basic and priced to match, which I was happy with. It provides a clean room/ bed to rest in on an overnight layover. If you're needing more than that, go elsewhere and you'll pay for it.

The staff were brilliant. It was my second stay at the hotel and I was greeted like a family member when I arrived. They also, very helpfully, allowed me to leave my big suitcase in the office with them for a couple of days when I was travelling to Suva on the bus and only needed a small bag.

As mentioned in a previous review, the facilities are very limited. A simple coffee bar with lunch options would have given my group somewhere nice to relax while waiting for check-in time when we arrived early.

Kudos to the staff. My late elderly mom who was on wheelchair received the greatest care and for this I'm grateful to the team. They went out of their way to even arrange a wheelchair accessible vehicle to transfer us to the airport and this is on top of having accommodated our request prior to our checking in cos of our flight schedule. We got the ground floor rooms we requested for since we had three elderly disables with us. Rooms are reasonable since we just needed a place to stay over for flights early next morning. Quite environment we had.

We had to wait a bit to check in. All details were sent via booking site. Nevertheless, all was sorted. What actually i do not like is the reviews most guests make about this place, make sure you read carefully, what this hotel provides and what not. Do not complain with your bad reviews which degrades a hotel business. If your expectations are high, then feel free to get a 5star hotel. Trans hotel, the name says it all.

The location was very close to airport which was great! The room I had, had a balcony view, which was lovely. Most impotantly, the lady at reception was very lovely, friendly and accommodating. She even took the time to take me to my room and showed me where everything was that i needed.

The pillow cases were dirty and the shower had mould in the bottom corners. The shower floor was a bit slippery too!

Very comfortable bed, extremely quiet and soundproof room at night. Slept like a log.

Not having internet in the room and no restaurant/bar means you need to go outside the hotel for food and drinks - but this was expected.

The staff at Trans Hotel were lovely, providing excellent service, and the rooms were comfortable, making it an ideal choice for a short stay with a toddler

The complimentary tea cups and cutlery set in the room could be improved for a better experience.

Close to airport

Stairs with no lift, however security carried my bag to my room. Could not get hot water in shower. Shower/ bath was not so easy to get into.
