The hotel’s location is fantastic—right next to the beautiful Kadrioru Park and very close to both the Estonian Art Museum and the Estonian Modern Art Museum (KUMU). The old town is easily accessible on foot or by tram, which stops conveniently close to the hotel. The coffee shop in the lobby serves excellent coffee and delicious pastries.

The reception staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming, and there was a miscommunication regarding our breakfast reservation. We weren’t given a handwritten breakfast voucher at check-in and had to specifically request it the next morning. Although the breakfast in the café downstairs was delicious, it took a while as it was table service only. Additionally, only filter coffee was included in the breakfast price, so we had to pay extra for cappuccinos and espressos.

The small, personal design hotel was a nice change after standard rooms in big chain hotels. Although the room was smallish, it offered "multiple spaces". My husband goes to bed early, and I could sit in a rocking chair behind blinds in a nice little window extension and not bother his sleep. The bathroom was very spacious and pretty, and it had a window. We would have appreciated a plastic chair in the shower, but they didn't have any, so my husband showered sitting on the floor. This worked fine, since the shower was a nice walk-in model. We liked the light furniture (we had to move a table so that my husband could roll to the bathroom in his wheelchair, but it was light to lift the table back when it was time to eat). The bead was good, and so were the sheets. At first we had only one pillow each, but when we asked for another one, they brought it up quickly. The air-conditioning was highly appreciated in the May surprise heatwave!

The accessible ramp at the entrance was quite steep, and it would have been nice to have handrails. We were two (=I could push), for us this really wasn't too big of a problem, but for a solo wheelchair traveller the steep ramp could be a challenge. The breakfast was not a standard buffet. Instead we could choose between some options, which were served to table. All options included delicious warm croisants. There was nothing wrong with the breakfast, but next time we will skipp it. There is a lovely coffee shop ajoining the hotel lobby, and we are tempted to try its specialty coffees, pastries and sweet rolls for breakfast.

Lovely & stylish room, friendly staff. Bed was comfortable. Location is good next to beautiful Kadriorg park with about 15 min walk to the centre. Tram 1 stop is also just round the corner so it's easy to get to the centre or Telliskivi area. There's a cute cafe next to the reception. The Italian restaurant round the corner was excellent as well as the cafe NOP on the next road behind the big car park (car park was cheap only 5€/day).

The bathroom was super cold and the floor heating didn't work. Not a problem in the summer but on a cold winter day not so nice...

Rooms with smelly carpet as it is a pet friendly hotel :/ mattress was average yet ok, pillows were uncomfortable, bathroom was ok, hairdryer was awfully weak and ended up not working in the last day, location is a bit far from the old town yet close to a great park and the ferry to Helsinki , staff were generally great (expect one person who was not really evoking competence), the lady who organised my room change was great No really a clreccommenation but it will do the job I wish I had something more polished There is a great coffee place in the hotel (as per locals’s opinin) yet I found it a bit inflexible and irritating as a venue and went to NOP (great food there)

The hotel is conviently situated and very good value for money if you're looking for something next to Kadriorg Park. It was my second stay here, so I was happy to come back. I especially appreciated the confortable bed (not too soft)!

This time I chose also to have my breakfast in the hotel because I expected it to be a self service and a lot faster than in a cafeteria around the corner. Unfortunately I was mistaken. Only drinks were avalaible right away and the service for food was slowish. So half an hour wasn't enough for the breakfast on a Saturday morning and when the food arrived I had no time left to enjoy it.

Compact, warm and welcoming hotel near nice baroque park with fountain, rose garden and nice walkable paths. Tram is nearby and few caffes and restaurants. No nightlife in this district. About 7 minute walk from Kumu museum through park and 5 mins to Kadriorg palace. Hotel offers breakfast at a connected venue Gourmet Coffee, that offers a menu with selected choices to choose from. Breakfast room is very nice and there is an outdoor patio with tables. Room was small yet nice and clean, the bathroom in contrast was spacious and featured walk-in shower. Everything was in mint condition. Good bed and good sleep.

Default coffee at the breakfast could be better, instead go for one prepared at Gourmet Coffee bar.

Great hotel! The room was big and beds were comfy. Everything was clean and soundproofing was great. Edward was a very friendly host and went out of his way to be helpful. Next to reception was a gourmet coffee place which had great coffee with a very cheerful lady serving. The hotel was situated near beautiful gardens and the lovely palace. Not too far from the port either.

A bit of a hike to get to the old town... about 30 minutes walk, but it was doable.

The room was clean and cozy enough. I just wish there was a kettle to boil the water for tea and less noise from the vent. There is a 24/7 reception to check in and out. There is a very nice cafe in the ground floor. The location worked for me because it was within the walking distance to the university.

I've never met such unkind staff. They acted like sulky, moody teenagers and would not even greet you if you walked up to the reception. I was left speechless. This does not apply to everyone, though, some of them were nice enough.

The hotel has recently been renovated so everything was very clean. I also appreciated the fact that it was very quiet - no noise from the street or other rooms. Breakfast is not a traditional continental breakfast, but you can choose from 4 different breakfast offers.

The room was very small - just a bed and a clothes hanger; there was no table, no chair, and of course no kettle or refrigerator. The shower was also very small and without a closing door, so the floor was completely wet after washing, no matter how thoroughly and carefully you washed.

Rija Fonnental is way better than Rija Old Town: the staff is kind, the cleaners clean and the cafe downstairs is a rare jewel. The room was spacious and the view was incredibly fascinating considering the snow covering all the Kadriog's roofs.

One of the receptionists (the less talkative brush-haired boy a bit physically bigger) wasn't kind at all. He doesn't say hello, minding his own business with AirPods: never seen anything like it.
