The service at the Hilton, Addis Ababa was outstanding as always: we were really made to feel at home, and very well looked after. Breakfast was excellent and the gym, pool and spa were all good. The room service menu is rather limited and some of the physical infrastructure is a bit tired but it remains a great place to stay!

Breakfast was great. Staff were super helpful especially the concierges who sorted out a driver to take me to meetings. Tewodros (Teddy) was brilliant. Loved the gym. Great equipment.

Sometimes - weekends and holidays the restaurants were very busy although the staff did their very best not to keep you waiting. Pool too crowded a lot of the time which put me off swimming.

Swimming pool area was gorgeous. Most staff treated me so well, including the porter and several room service staff who offered to get me a nurse the day I was sick. I tipped all the room service staff because they were so lovely. I also liked all the little shops in the hotel.

One staffer gave me a bit of an attitude when I wanted to print something. Breakfast could be better quality. Tiramisu was also not tiramisu - please see Gennaro Contaldo’s YouTube video for an easy and authentic tiramisu.

Staff could not have been friendlier. The hotel is well located and perfect for a short stay. Rooms are very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The pool area is lovely.

The hotel can get very busy at times and it was sometimes difficult to find a table to eat dinner by the pool. Service was quite slow, but the hotel was very busy during our visit so staff may have been over run.

It's atmosphere was great, and the amenities, except for the internet was terrific

You really need to have a better internet service, as most of us are dependent on the internet to keep our businesses and contacts ongoing. Please get a stronger signal and have it reach all of the rooms

Friendly staff

The staff was extremely friendly and was always around to help me with my questions! The property itself is quite beautiful and old-school. I quite liked the ambience of the place.

I felt there could be a bit more variety in terms of food options. But having said that they're doing a really good job with what is on offer.

Fabulous architecture and friendly helpful staff in a central location in the city. We had an updated room on the 9th floor facing the garden. Excellent wifi

It would have been great to have had an a La carte option in the restaurant. The more pub like restaurant in the garden had choices from its more basic menu.

I got upgraded at check-in, which was great. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

I wish I'd been told about the executive lounge at check-in, I didn't get to use it until the second day.

The location is great and well protected. The facility and amenity are maintained to the standard. The breakfast is superb.

Staff attitude was not entirely friendly. Sometimes can see visible frustrations for even asking about regular housekeeping stuffs.
