Our stay at this hostel was absolutely amazing! The staff are not just incredible workers – they are truly wonderful people who made our time unforgettable. Special thanks to Elenöa, Bill, and Emily. They were always there for us, incredibly helpful, and went above and beyond in everything they did. Every evening, they hosted a kava ceremony where we sat together, sang songs, and shared stories. The place is super clean, the rooms are comfortable, and there are so many activities to join during the day. We could always come to them with any questions or concerns, and they made us feel so welcome and cared for. It’s the perfect balance of relaxation and fun. Every time we come back to Fiji, this will always be the place we choose to stay. Thank you for everything!

Am Alexie from Vanuatu.The accomodations was great well clean and arranged.Good customer service from the staffs,so friendly and easy to interact with them.Their smiles when they talk makes you feel at home.The location is really closs to the beach and is surrounded with bars and restaurants with really good entertainments. The view of the beach was amazing with nice warmy weather there can't wait to get another vocation there again.Therefore I recommend this motel to anyone who is looking for a really enjoyable long vocation,this motel saves you more money and absolutely got the right spot for you.💯💪🫶🥰🥰🥰

Phenomenal people! I felt like I was staying with family! The staff went above and beyond to help me plan my trip, make sure I could take the bus places, and allowed me to leave some of my things when I was island hopping. It was incredibly quiet for a 12-bed shared dorm. They were also constantly cleaning the bathrooms. I never saw/had any bed bug bites. I loved my stay here and will absolutely be back! Also, it is so convenient to the beach and wonderful and fun restaurants. We could just run over to the beach to catch the sunset and swim, and it was absolutely one of the best sunsets I have ever seen! Also, you are able to use the pool at the sister hostel, where the staff there are excellent as well. There are so many fun events and activities that the hostel sets up as well, and I was able to make so many friends at the hostel through these activities and more.

Very grateful to to wonderful staff, especially Bill and Elenoa, who were so welcoming, and remembered me when I returned again later on in my Fiji trip to stay for another night. Elenoa helped me book my trip to the islands, thank you!! They organise daytrips for guests, and have a kava ceremony in the evenings and sing songs with the guests. Great hostel to make friends when travelling solo. I had seen reviews about bed bugs and was a little hesitant at first because of this, but when I stayed in June 2024 I found the big 16 person dorm (no bunks, all beds, and everyone gets a charging port!) to be really clean and comfortable.

The staff here is absolutely phenomenal, you will immediately feel like home! This was my first stop in Fiji and I felt like I was part of a family -- I kept coming back! The staff instantly gave me tips on where to go and when, and when I went on a few multi-day trips, they were able to keep my bag in their luggage storage, which made me feel so secure and made my life so much easier. I had read aabout bed bugs but this was never an issue for me in the 12-person shared dorm room. It was also very quite and clean when I stayed. The location is excellent, easy to take the local bus or a taxi to the airport/bus station. The value is something you could never beat, and it's very close to restaurants/a grocery store. Also, you can hop over to their sister hostel to use the pool/facilities, which was incredible. And! They have a sister hostel on Taveuni, and staying there made me feel even more like part of a family!

I'm sad that I left, I miss this place so much!

Staff at bamboo is great! They helped us with everything what we needed. They also have a seating area where you could relax or join them to guitar playing, story telling and more. The location is great, right on the beach with beach house nearby. There is also a public bus going to the centre of Nadi every hour which is also a good adventure to take :)

You could hear through the walls so we decided to stay in capsule bed and that was perfect

Good location with plenty of restaurants nearby. Good facilities and super friendly staff. Great to see an affordable accommodation option for travelers on a budget! Luggage storage was helpful for leaving bigger bags when zipping off to the islands - free, provided you book nights both sides of your trip.

Top bunk had a thinner mattress than the bottom one and I woke up both days with a very sore back. There was a long balcony with a clothes line outside our bunk room but it was full of mattresses airing so no access available which was a shame. The Beach Club opposite had live music both nights we were there (Fri & Sat), so be prepared for loud amplified music late into the night. Also lots of dogs barking.

The staff - in particular Emeri, are so lovely. They are very helpful and I definitely recommend booking any excursions through them as they won't rip you off. If you get the double room with aircon you'll be absolutely thrilled. The rooms without Aircon are fine but it does get very hot. Great little free activities happening throughout the day and a good bar over the road.

The shared bathroom is okay but as the beach nearby is a very dark muddy sand it does get grubby quickly, just wear shoes in there and you'll be fine, I would recommend a private bathroom if it's available.

The only hostel in Nadi. Good value for money. AC is fine although it doesn't reach inside the capsules so it feels a bit stuffy. They have a tourist agency on site and they're really helpful! I usually hate agencies but it's really hard to get information about homestays and attractions in Fiji without them.

No kitchen unfortunately. Their driver nearly killed us on the way to the airport driving on the wrong side of the road and nearly hitting an oncoming car! It seemed like he was falling asleep. Far from the centre and from the airport but you can easily hitchhike. No curtains on most beds.

Dorm rooms pretty standard but actually quite nice. Plug sockets by some beds and beds comfortable. Facilities were good, clean and spacious. Laundry service offered for a charge but does not include tumble dry. Great location, right by Wailoaloa beach and short bus ride to Nadi town centre. Bus goes from right outside and is max $2 to town.

Not much to dislike. Met all my expectations as a hostel and is great for backpackers at such an affordable price.
