Well located close to Port Denarau shops and boat terminal. Room was enormous, could comfortably stay for a long time if needed. Self contained to cook your own meals if you wished. On site cafe. 24 hour reception.

Plumbing issue with the bathtub- a fitting wasn’t secured so when the water was let out the whole room flooded. We went to get urgent help but had to talk to several people before someone would attend which was stressful. Maintenance fixed the issue but we were hesitant to use the bath, and had a large part of our afternoon disrupted. Had inconsistent information from various reception staff about local tours.

The location was excellent, helpful staff and tour desk, kitchen set up was basic but good, and the bula bus was cheap and great to visit other resorts for a meal and drink.

The sliding glass door between bedroom and bathroom was random.

Everything was wonderful! Large, spacious apartment, wonderful bathroom. Washer and dryer. Friendly and attentive staff. Right across from the marina. Swimming area was perfect for a refreshing morning dip.

Great location across the road from the marina. Easy parking and really nice staff. Pool lovely and clean. Our apartment was huge. It had everything we needed. The cafe downstairs served nice coffee.

Well this would have been a 10 except for two things. 1. I rang ahead and asked for a quiet room. We were given the apartment on top of the cafe and in front of the pool. Certainly not a quiet room. They have other rooms away from the pool and cafe so request them. The nights were quiet as the pool shuts down at 9 pm. Also the cleaners not knocking and just appearing in your room needs to be addressed. We had a late check out and at 9.15 am a cleaner just walked in. Luckily I was dressed.

The location is perfect. A short walk across the road to the ferry terminal and small shopping center. The rooms are very spacious, bonus is the washer and dryer in each room. The hotel staff are always so warm and inviting, all wearing big smiles. The on-site cafe service wasn't the best on day 1 however they improved as our stay progressed. The kids loved the pool. Smoking friendly property, ashtrays supplied ok each deck table. Fully air-conditioned in the main living area as well as each room. We will definitely be back!

The Palms is a great place to stay. Location is perfect with Port Denarau just a short walk. There are lots of restaurants, shops and of course if you are looking for a day trip, then this is the place to arrange that as the cruises leave from the Port. The staff are excellent and make you feel very welcome. Highly recommend this as your base.

The pool area doesn't really give you the ability to just sit around the pool and swim all day. Great if you have kids, but not so great as an adult.

All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were travelling with family that were staying elsewhere and regularly had reception calling cabs for us to travel between locations which they happily accommodated. Check in/out was easy. We had expected for the price to have a standard, fairly small, room but it was HUGE and so comfortable. Our balcony faced out to the street/marina so we were nervous we'd have some discomfort with noise but it was not a problem at all!

More time! We were only on a short trip so didn't get to try out the cafe or pool, though both looked incredible. We will definitely check these out on our next stay!

A great place to stay. I chose a 1 bedroom property as it had a washing machine and dryer in the room. Very cool air con awaits your arrival. Very spacious with a lounge room and kitchen. Private balcony outside on upper floors. I stayed on the 2nd floor. There’s only one floor above you. Good little cafe on site. Pool welcoming on those hot days. Walk directly across the road to the Port Denarau shops and the marina for day cruises to the islands. Value for money place to stay. Staff very friendly.

The staff were wonderful- everyone. The curry was the most amazing Ive had in a very long time. Housekeeping was in the room everyday cleaning the floor and changing the sheets often. The room had a hanging frame to dry clothes - something you don’t see but was so so helpful when you are on an island holiday. I could see little bits of maintenance going on everyday. The bed was comfortable. There was a second sink and table top in the room aswell as a fridge - making it great for preparing teas and washing dishes. Things happening almost every night for the guests - the bonfire was a highlight.

The room needed some maintenance, issues with the shower leaking and in our second room the bathroom was open plan and flooded every time we showered. I did mention it and they were proactive in trying to resolve things. I hope that they will sort this out before our next visit. With seeing the maintenance going on outside I do feel that they will work on the room maintenance too. I would still stay again.

We were exceptionally lucky to be upgraded to a 2 bedroomed apartment which was huge and provided everything that we needed including a washing machine and dryer which were very useful as we’d been travelling for several weeks before we finally arrived in Fiji. The location of the apartments is also ideal as they’re right across the road from Port Denerau making access to the ferries etc very easy. There is also a good choice of restaurants, shops etc at the port.
