Liked the mix of simplicity of old & new. Friendly staff, service needs a little tweaking but they are doing a great job! Lovely rooms, showers a bit tight but very clean and inviting. Excellent breakfast and a special big shout out to our bartender young lady on Sunday night 15.8! Thank you for your enthusiastic service & energy! We will return. Thank you got a lovely stay!

A bit surprised that parking is 25€ a night. Seemed a bit excessive.

A truly unique hotel in an original and super well-designed building. The rooms are very cosy and offer everything one needs incl. some nice amenities such as as Steamery. We particularly enjoyed the great breakfast with regional and Finnish specialities. However, what really made us enjoy the stay was the team‘s outstanding hospitality and personal service at every encounter. We will absolutely return whenever we have a chance.

The early 1900s -building is renovated and furnished with excellent class and taste, no corners appeared to have been cut. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean and fresh. Small details as a water carbonation machine in the room, free slippers etc. added that little extra. Extremely helpfull staff seemed genuinely friendly and nice. The sauna in the attic is exceptional and well worth a visit. Nice breakfast with high-quality ingredients and some locally produced food.

Our order for eggs and bacon at the start of breakfast was somehow lost and we never got any. No big deal.

The breakfast could have something very unique and specific. The wall ventiles (seinäventtiili) in our was very dusty. I know it is high up and hard to reach but that is still quite discusting..

This place was phenomenal and I want to go back already! It is a bit pricey but totally worth the money. The breakfast was great, I only missed more vegan options. Best location in Porvoo in a very beautiful building.

Not sure if a booking system would make the sauna department even better so that it wouldn't became more crowded. Then again the current system at least enables everyone to use it. At the breakfast I was very happy to see tea that was pre-prepared in a pot. There were two different ones but unfortunately both of them were extremely weak in taste. That should definitely be changed. I also tried the coffee that was also weak but still drinkable.

It was a really great stay, we were celebrating a birthday and our anniversary. The room was airy and had a nice calm vibe and was elegantly furnished. The sauna department was top notch and so was the breakfast. The cherry on the cake was the excellent service given by hotel staff who made the entire visit smooth and comfortable.

The bar service could've been better. We sat down by the bar to have some pre-dinner cocktails. The bar hadn't been wiped down properly after the previous customers and there was something sticky and purple left on the counter when we sat down. The cocktails were tasty and we would've loved another round but no one working behind the bar thought of asking us how we liked the drinks and wether or not we wanted another one while we sat there with empty glasses wishing for the same level of service we'd gotten during the rest of the stay at the hotel.

Very nice and fresh hotel, modern interior design, the room had everything we need. Great sauna at the attic. Delicious breakfast made of local food.

All hotel's parking spots was occupied, I had to park across the river (it's 5 min walk but still not perfect). It seems that A/C cannot be completely turned off.

Small but tastefully furnished and very quiet room. very comfortable bed, great bathroom and shower. Superb breakfast, kind and discreet staff. Even the lobby was a nice place to sit and spend some time

Sauna lounge was not available a half hour before indicated closing time. Perhaps next time!

Family group stayed here for long weekend for family wedding in town. All the staff were lovely and incredibly friendly and welcoming. Ideally located at edge of historic core. Good secondary glazing meant that noise from traffic on main road did not disturb us at night. Rooms very clean and had sufficient space as stayed in one of larger rooms. Large buffet breakfast provided with plenty to choose from. Nothing bad to say about place.
