The staff were very friendly and helpful. Deepak in housekeeping kept our room very clean and made wonderful towel designs for us. We felt so special. The old man moping around the elevator was also very friendly and welcoming. All the staff we interacted with were very nice, warm, and inviting. The design of the hotel lobby and lounge is very beautiful and captivating, I really liked it. Breakfast was also very nice, although I found that the chicken curry would go cold and was therefore not as enjoyable.

The rooms were not up to our liking, the furniture in the room was not the best quality and the carpet in the corridor could use some better cleaning as it had stains.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Penang Parkroyal Resort, and it was an exceptional experience. The resort is beautifully located along the Batu Ferringhi beachfront, offering stunning sea views and easy access to the beach. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and comfortable, with modern amenities that ensure a relaxing stay. The staff's hospitality stood out; they were always friendly, attentive, and eager to assist, making the overall experience warm and welcoming. The resort offers a variety of dining options with delicious local and international cuisine. The breakfast spread was particularly impressive, with plenty of options to suit all tastes. The pool area is perfect for both adults and kids, with plenty of lounging space to soak up the sun. Overall, Penang Parkroyal Resort is a wonderful choice for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway in Penang. I would highly recommend it to families, couples, and solo travelers alike!

Perfectly situated, nicely designed and well integrated into the surroundings. We were very pleased that there were always enough loungers available for all guests.

We didn’t really care for the breakfast situation. While the breakfast was good and offered a huge variety of options, there were far too few tables and too many people. The place is very busy and you have to wait at the entrance. They should certainly use their other restaurant to serve breakfast as well. This would ease the pressure.

Lovely location on the beach, staff all incredibly courteous and welcoming. Beach bar happy hour was great value and numerous options for breakfast. Great to meet the manager John and thanking him for his invitation to meet and greet

Fantastic family resort. The grounds were beautiful, the pools were great and the slide a big hit with our little ones. They really enjoyed their time in the Kids club with the scheduled arts and crafts activities each day. Spacial mention to Norliza who was so attentive and caring. We like that the hotel is on a slightly quieter stretch of the main road in comparison to the other bigger resorts yet it’s only a short walk to restaurants and the food court. The staff and their warm and caring nature is really what makes this place special though. From the security guards through to the chefs you’re always greeted with a smile. We had to see the in house doctor as our daughter was unwell and had a very positive experience with that. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Breakfasts were amazing with a huge variety (from my point of view it was rather as breakfast together with lunch as there were different sorts of meals available). Pool was great and looked like somewhere in the jungle. There were sunbeds always available and a lot of space in garden to enjoy it and relax. Great place to spend whole week, relax and walk on beach.

Unfortunately sea was not clear and not good / nice to swim in it. We knew it before we get is so it wasn't such a surprise for us and is definitely not something hotel is able to do with, but it may be disappointment for someone who expects clear water and would like to spend a lot of time in the sea.

The breakfast was the best I ever had.... Breakfast was way beyond my expectations, and I have tried many breakfast buffes, but this was amazing. Pictures on Booking.com should be updated, Hotel looks soo much better in real. Gym, pool, staff, lobby room all was great. Real 5 * Had the feeling wow, when on the premises Also there was a small water playground for children. Good shady, when sun too much.. Great expirence.

Only thing was stinging jelly fish in ocean, so we only used pool. But 🪼 jellyfish is not to be blamed on Hotel.

HOTEL SHOULD HIRE OWN VEHICLES FOR TRANSPORTATION AT A REASONABLE RATES, IN COMPARISON TO GRAB OR OTHER TAXI SERVICES- FROM AIRPORT TO/FROM HOTEL AND FARES FROM HOTEL TO VARIOUS SHOPPING MALLS AND SITES FOOD PRRICES FOR LUNCH OR DINNER AT HOTEL ARE QUITE EXPENSIVE AND NO COMPARISON TO CLOSE BY RESTAURANTS-

Location is great for those wanting to stay near a beach. Facilities such as kids room and games at the lounge are very nice touch for family stay. It has a good pool for kids, and very near to a public beach. After 4pm there are many things to explore nearby - night market, good reataurants. Most importantly, the hotel team service level is very good.

This is countering the point on its great location. The traffic is horrible after 4pm with the crawl starts 5km leading toward to the hotel, taking 30 minutes just to do 5km. To be fair, if you and the group are travelling with mostly will chill within the hotel area, with well planned excursion to Georgetown or other areas, this is not much of an issue. Some areas could be better - the toilet sliding door could not be locked, aircon could not be adjusted to higher temperature (it was set at 25 Celsius top).

I’ve always been a loyal guest of Hilton, but this was my first time staying at Parkroyal, and it turned out to be an exceptional experience. The hotel environment is beautiful, directly overlooking the sea, with several different pools and recreational facilities. It was incredibly convenient, especially since I was traveling with my little sister and mother. Additionally, as a vegetarian, I contacted the hotel in advance, and the chef was kind enough to personally speak with me after I checked in. We ordered room service and thoroughly enjoyed the meals! A special thank you to the female chef—I’m truly sorry I’ve forgotten her name, but I believe it was Chef Phua (?). Everything was perfect, and the hotel staff were all incredibly helpful and accommodating. Thank you!

The only areas that could use improvement were the check-in process, which was quite slow—I had to stand and wait for quite a while. Also, when I was using the water slide, specifically the blue one, the experience was somewhat dampened by the lifeguard’s attitude. Since I was going down with my child, I needed a bit more time to prepare (definitely not more than 30 seconds), but the lifeguard rather rudely rushed us, which affected the overall experience. Other than these issues, everything else was fantastic!
