Large room with seperate living area, bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of cupboards and storage space. Great location right opposite the walled city of Avignon and approximately 4 minutes walk from Avignon Central train station. Room was quiet with no noise from adjoining rooms or from the road outside. Good air conditioning. Small pool area on the roof. A safe was provided and fridge with two bottles of complimentary water. Toiletries and towels provided in the bathroom. Bar area and garden area with shade.

One or two areas could have done with minor remedials, eg shower rail wouldn't lockthe shower head, shower door didn't close fully, a bit of rotten wood to the batroom door. Nothing serious and it didn't affect my overall satisfaction with the hotel. Continental breakfast expensive at 15 euro.

Brilliantly located hotel. It's right beside the central train station, which is a six minute shuttle train from the TGV. We flew to Lyon, took a one hour TGV to Avignon TGV station, and then the shuttle to Avignon Central Station. ... the hotel was right there. Avignon is not that big, and right opposite the hotel is the main gate to the city's main street, leading directly to the central Place. Perfect location. Staff are fantastic. Particularly Miriam, at the front desk, who put great effort into sorting my train ticket booking. (I am a wheelchair user, and I needed to book SNCF assistance for my train back. Miriam was brilliant, on the phone to SNCF. Thank you!.) Wheelchair accessible bathroom was outstanding. Extremely spacious. Top marks for that. Similarly with the wheelchair accessible room. Lots and lots of space to circulate.

Avignon was warm when we were there, daytime temperatures between 22 and 26°. The room was incredibly warm and the air conditioning, while operational, wasn't very good. They did provide a fan, which was nice. But need to get that air conditioning sorted. Also, as a wheelchair user, there was no automatic door at the top of the ramp. That would be useful. I was with somebody, so it didn't matter, but an automatic door in the wheelchair entrance would be recommended. But I would still recommend the hotel to wheelchair users, that wasn't a major problem.

This is a pleasant quiet old style hotel just outside the ramparts of the city and a few minutes walk from the Avignon Central train station and 10 minutes walk to the heart of the city. I had a lovely spacious room with a balcony and garden view. There is a small area in the foyer area that also allows access outside into the garden. While small, the rooftop pool allows a space for relaxing in the sun and a cool water dip.

While the hotel is old style perhaps the bedrooms would benefit from new paint and perhaps more generous tea/coffee - mine was fully refilled

Free pool, really clean hotel, amazing shower gel and shampoo, spacious room, has a fridge, separate zones for living area, sleeping area and shower, there are doors between all of them. Close to the city center and the tourist Office. Offered laundry services for 15 euros per bag of clothes, which we used twice throughout our stay.

Air conditioning was really bad, we could not set specific temperature, only the strength of it. Also it was really loud, so made it difficult to sleep at night. Other than that - great hotel.

Very close to the old town, literally across the road. Great to have a pool after a hot day sightseeing. Breakfast was great, with an orange juicing machine. Plenty of choices food wise. Our room opened up onto a courtyard area. Cleaning was done daily. I used the little train that went through the city for just over an hour (€10) and it was informative. Very close to the train station. After exiting station turn left and it is on the next corner.

Literally at the edge of the old town, the location is perfect. One can simply walk to all the attractions, restaurants etc. Practical and well appointed room - good size and well furnished. Very comfortable bed. Parking available on payment in underground parking directly under the hotel, so access is very good.

Breakfast was just so- so. The hotel is reasonably large and hence a bit impersonal. In the evening it was raining and hotel was not able to provide umbrellas since they had run out of stock.

Nice hotel situated just outside the city center and conveniently located next to the train station. Parking was located adjacent to the hotel. We liked that the air conditioning in the room was available for use--most hotels in Europe seem to control when air conditioning can be used which is usually determined by dates on the calendar and not the actual temperature.

Our family room was lovely and included a little lounge which we hadn't expected. Breakfast was an exciting activity for the kids as most things you can prepare for yourself for eg the pancake machine, boiling an egg and pressing your own orange juice

We stayed during a heat wave and the aircon didn't work very well. The kids enjoyed the pool but due to the heat the handle on the door to the roof pool was burning hot!

Room - the suite is large, comfortable, sensibly set out, good view to the courtyard, good bathroom, and we were undisturbed by any outside noise. Location - we travelled by train, and it is within walking distance of the station, even with baggage. The city walls of Avignon were across the road, so we walked everywhere. Breakfast - good seating, good view, good ambience, good food, well laid out.

On the one hand there was no restaurant within the hotel building, but on the other hand the hotel has a restaurant in the next building, and there are plenty of good restaurants within Avignon. Not really a complaint. Nothing to dislike.

This hotel is really a group of suites and "residences". We were assigned a suite which consisted of a huge bedroom with two king-sized beds, a formal well-and tastefully-furnished sitting room, a dressing room, a large bath with both an enclosed shower and a tub, a refrigerator, microwave, central temperature control and perhaps ten closets. Oh, and a TV, if that's your thing. And the cost was under 100 euros a day!

What was there could not have been excelled!
