Jesus, the receptionist, spoke English very well and was very accommodating and welcoming, he offered us free complimentary snacks upon our arrival and helped us check in our bags.

Rooms were smaller than expected but they were enough to do the job for one night. Although their direct message to us through booking.com promised a welcome coffee, we had not received it. Construction around the Gare made it inconvenient to park by the hotel entrance and unload, and the parking, once we found it, had no active charging stations for hybrid cars. We had to haul all our 6 luggage pieces into 4 different elevators to get to our room.

Location is good, near the train station and walking distance to the Avignon old center. The sound isolation was good, so no noise from outside. The room was clean.

The rooms are really tiny. Not so much space to maneuver a big luggage. The hotel rooms needs to be refurbished. The breakfast was basic continental, not bad, but it wasn't too much variation. Arround the hotel and the train station, there is a construction site, so the access to the hotel is not easy and you need to pass some kind of passage which is not really friendly (smell, dirt...).

It was in spitting distance of the train station, but also really convenient to walk to the city and the attractions. the staff was very friendly, and they had an amazing breakfast buffet for about €12.50. We were able to drop our bags off in the morning and hop back on the train for a day trip to Arles.

The side of the hotel we were on faced the railway tracks, but that was the side that offered the bed arrangements we asked for, so no complaints there. The soundproofing was excellent, we never heard a thing.

Basic hotel, very close to the train station and reasonable value. Good selection at breakfast.

Very hard to find the entrance, I got a long email to tell me how to find the car park, but nothing to say that there were roadworks outside which made it difficult to identify the pedestrian access.

We put a silly special request of pictures in our room and bless them. The staff at the ibis went out their way to fulfil our special request.

The only issue I had was my mobile wiped my key but the staff at reception were super helpful in fixing so it was a very mild irritant on an otherwise great stay

Nice location with some of the attractions within walking distance. Hotel staff were great and the breakfast was really great. Room was clean and bed was comfortable

If you are by cat, access to the hotel is kind of tricky at night for people with reduced mobility, you need to navigate through mutiple lifts through the parking to arrive and leave at the hotel. The issue being the SNCF access lift shuts down at night.

Location near the station, cleanliness, very friendly staff. Breakfast was fantastic! The rooms are small but functional, definitely adequate for a couple of nights.

The current construction at the station makes the hotel look uninviting.

Directions to reach the Hotel Reception were poor bearing in mind the complex one way road systems and provision of a simple location map would have easily resolved this by showing it adjoins the one way road to the rail station car park. The signage to the Hotel and to the rail station car park is also poor despite the large Hotel Ibis sign and Rail Station signage easily visible on the upper floors of the buildings.

Breakfast was good with lots of choice, the beds comfortable and close to the public transport and entry to the city and its main street.

we arrived very late and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and fed! their was a huge conscious effort to present a breakfast devoid of ANY packaging. congratulations
