The lady t the reception was extremely accommodating when we complained about the rooms in the new part of the hotel. She gave us superb rooms without surcharge.

The new section of the hotel is horrible! The design unaesthetic and not thought out. The rooms are hard to find and people with luggage have to carry it up stairs. I felt like being in a futuristic setting. See pictures. If you book to stay at the Hotel make sure to ask for accommodation in the old part.

The location was perfect - not far from the train & bus links but within the city walls in a quiet peaceful back street. Close to great restaurants and all the historic city attractions. Our room was in the ‘modern’ section but this did not detract from the stay at all as we had a wonderful terrace looking out over the beautiful gardens and historic courtyard. The rooftop pool was so refreshing and the rooftop lounging terrace was a wonderful way to relax at the end of the day. The room was very spacious with large comfortable bed, lounging area as well as an outside terrace, perfect for a an early morning coffee. Also a very large separate wardrobe and luggage store area. Friendly helpful reception staff, great to have 24 hour reception as we had to leave very early fir our homeward train.

A fantastic location, so close to the City Centre train station ( this is NOT the TGV station ) . Enter into the court yard to a wow moment, as you step back into history seeing the old cloisters which have been so well looked after. Most room are easy to access, however some are at the very top, for which there is no lift ! Check you don't have to carry you cases beyond the lift. The room was an excellent size: Huge bed, very modern bathroom and even a kettle with coffee. I don't know of any other hotel with its own medieval chapel, stunning.

Not being advised that the room was in the Roof, and we had to carry our cases up 20plus very narrow ' castle like' stairs.

Located close to the old city gate which is opposite the train station. It is a slow 10 minute walk to the Papal palace and main square. Quiet location off main road, beautiful and airy building with large rooms, courtyard and comfy bed. I liked been able to open the window for fresh air.

The bathroom was very dimly lit with black tiles - there is no light in the shower and I could not even see what was shampoo and what was body wash. I don't think the cleaners can see either to tell if it is cleaned properly and I didn't like not been able to see if the shower was clean.

Great location , beautiful old building, very practical parking behind the hotel, nice breakfast location, swimming pool on the roof, friendly staff.

The rooms are dark and for some strange reason the internal doors in the room ( between the bathroom/toilet and the bedroom) are equipped with automatic door closers ( unnecessary and unpractical). The toilet is so small that the door doesn't close when in use. Al these are mistakes by the architect who did the renovation of the building. Unfortunately. Can easily be remedied by rearranging the rooms and also making the balconies more attractive.

The location is super close to the city centre and a very special place. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was perfect. They even use products from L'Occitane brand in the bathroom. The have a watercooker in case you want to drink a tea. We have had dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious. The best tomato mozzarella salad ever eaten. The tomatoes were super tasty and the dressing was delicious. The breakfast is very good and extensive, even soy and almond milk and gluten free bread for the celiacs. A very good range of tea flavours from the brand Comptoirs Richard.

The lift is very old and it was working at times. We are young persons but for persons with more age, to go upstairs to the last floor I can imagine it can be annoying. The airco in the room was an old manual devide hanging on the wall and it was not possible to regulate the temperature or turn it off. The 2 nights we were there at the beginning of August month I was sleeping covered with the bedsheets because of this.

Lovely central hotel with parking. Our room was in the newer part of the hotel, which had lots of space with a balcony overlooking a courtyard. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of space in the lounge area to relax.

The entrance to our room had wardrobes and WC which was great, but there was a fire door leading to the bedroom. It was really difficult to close it quietly or without it squeaking. Not really a problem if you don't get up in the middle of the night :)

The helpfulness of staff was quite variable with some being very helpful and others less so. The staff should accompany guest to the room because in some rooms there is an unusual set-up in which there is a pitch black fore chamber which can only be lit by a card (not provided) in slot not on the wall of the outer door. This requires an introduction by staff. The actual room itself which is found beyond a second closed door, was very spacious and inviting. I did not understand why the shower-head hose was not long enough to reach the hook which would have turned the bathtub into a standing shower. A longer hose would have been helpful.

Lovely staff, clean hotel, great rooftop pool, easy walk to main attractions. There was a street fair going on that was a nice plus. Lots of restaurants and a fun tram ride too. We did a quick trip to Pont de gard since we had a car. Parking on site was great.

The directions to the parking lot were confusing since there are one way streets and we circled a few times before we could find the hotel and then had to get back in the car to find the parking lot.

We loved the hotel, an ancient cloitre the room was great, as we got upgraded to a better one, a bit like a suite, the hotel has a pool on the roof but it is closed in the winter

The house keeping got in several times without knocking at the door, early in the morning, that was completly rude
