It's a perfectly comfortable, well-located hotel for an overnight stop while travelling. The reception manager is very friendly. The restaurant offers a reasonably-priced dinner menu. There is public parking right outside the hotel, which seems fairly safe and is free overnight until 9:00 a.m.

We'd have preferred private, secure parking but it's very limited and has never been available. The breakfast is expensive and poor value for money. The facilities are all a bit faded, though clean and perfectly comfortable. Bathe restaurant service varies and isn't always particularly friendly.

Location is great. Hotel in general is quite nice. Staff is quite helpful and welcoming;

I think decoration of room are a bit out of date. My room was above , kitchen I assume, and I had a bit of cooking smell,but it was ok. My room was on first floor and accessible from outside. I would have like a system to lock the window and be able to sleep opened window.

Spacious bathroom with a lovely shower. Good breakfast. Location is excellent, and the use of the car park was much appreciated.

On a hot night, the air conditioning actually made the room too cold, and it was difficult to alter this. Switching it off altogether made the temperature OK, but the room was then too stuffy.

Location is very good, very central. However, it is not easy to find, due to the narrow roads in the centre of town. The day we arrived, we ate in the restaurant and was very pleased with the quality of the food and the service of the staff.

I found the parking garage inconvenient.

Hotel le France. It is coosy, well located and combined with a good restaurant. Parking inside k to book) or outside. Nice view.

For the first time, since 15 years, I got a bad small room, dark and with a horribel view towards a narrow smelly backyard with kitchen skylights, windows 10 meters away and ventilators. . I complained and got a better room but with a too small showercabin . I just hope this will never happen again!

Great location. Hotel had character. Beautiful new bathroom. The room had a fridge and air conditioning.

Bedroom a long way from the lift but this was a very minor point. If we stayed again I would ask for one nearer the lift.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant was lovely, our second visit after enjoying it so much last year. Room was lovely.

No room in parking garage was a bit of a pain as had to keep feeding the parking meter but probably should have booked in advance....

This is a charming, slightly old fashioned hotel, that is being updated I think. Our bathroom was fabulous, and our room was clean and comfortable.Breakfast was good, and it was in the centre of the town.

Beautifull large suite. Nice staff, good garage. Excellent restaurant. Dog friendly. Right in the middle of nice town. Real nice and old French Hotel.

Nice convenient location and pleasant hotel

it was very difficult to find by Satnav as it was a convoluted way to reach the hotel. If we had been told to follow the signs for Place Bernard parking it would have been easy
