The breakfast was in a very nice room with a high ceiling with lots of sunlight. It was easy to find exactly what was desired for breakfast, and a nice server brought the desired coffee and teas.

It was the end of the tourist season, but the staff was still ready to serve their guests. No complaints.

The garden , some of the retained architectural features , and being pet friendly. Must have been a magniifiicent grand hotel in the heydays of railway travel.

Limited facilities, eg no bar or lounge area, essentially its a B&B hotel but comfortable and central. Shame that there’s no history to be found of the building or its heritage, ( even after asking) nevertheless a good quality cantilevered marble staircase still intact and a magniificent Hausemann era wooden caged lift in situ, ( not in use but there is a modern lift avaiilable).

The hotel was stylish and comfortable and my room was very spacious. While the hotel was in the middle of town, it was very quiet. There are large private gardens at the rear and a big conservatory to relax in. There was also a large, secure parking garage, which I appreciated. Loved the traditional antique elevator in Reception. Breakfast was excellent with a large selection and a bright, airy dining room.

The food selection was extremely limited (in fact I really struggled to buy any food anywhere in Bourg en Bresse - everywhere seemed to close at 7:00pm). I also got eaten alive by mozzy's, but that's not the fault of the hotel! The hotel seemed very quiet and lacked atmosphere, but I think it was still being impacted by the pandemic situation while I was there.

Very spacious rooms, beyond our expectations. There is a large and quiet garden directly accessible at the back of the hotel. Very nice for kids who can move at their ease. You can also have dinner outside in the garden. Parking was easy in the street (on Friday evening, free). And please visit the royal monastery of Brou. 5 minutes by car / 23 minutes by foot.

The staff is caring. The hotel has a art deco hall and vintage beautiful stairs. You can stay to drink a beer in the garden, or walk in the large backyard with old trees. It's just sad that the fontain is note maintained

It was a great location, walking distance to the centre of town and all good restaurants. They have parking on site, which is not easy to find and navigate, but worked well as it allowed us to drive outside the city and not have to look for parking etc.

The parking entrance is very narrow and difficult to locate, also there a some old signs for the hotel (from the previous owner) that were confusing in locating the hotel.

Pleasant helpful staff. Bar open when requested. Good open grounds if you have a dog to exercise. Parking available €12.

The breakfast adequate but limited as were the toiletries given the cost.

Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Although we did not reserved a parking-place, they managed to find us a secure spot. Very nice and varied breakfast. Rooms very clean. The garden is a quiet haven after a long drive. Unexpected, so close to the railway-station.

This are perfect place for people, who travel with their dogs. Hotel have private garden, with fence, where dogs can have their walks without leash.

Just one moment, but this depend on size of your car. Garage are for standart cars, if you have bigger one, it will be difficult to enter, and more difficult to drive out. This realy is not a problem, just take care about this issue.
