Finding the aparthotel was easy, as was entry into the code-accessible car park, as we'd been emailed very clear instructions on how to gain access. Check in was smooth and the check-in staff friendly and helpful. The two apartments were basic, but clean and the beds very comfortable. The rooms were also very quiet. Had we been staying longer, the cooker and fridge in the room would've been very handy. It was also a short 20 mins walk into Caen town centre which was great to stretch the legs and see some of the town after a long drive.

Lovely quiet location with a little supermarket and a bakery 2 minutes walk away. Having the little kitchen area and fridge was very useful. Beds very comfortable and staff very pleasant.

Around 30 minutes walk from the station with no real way to get public transport there, but the location would be perfect for anyone with a car.

The reception lady was very kind and helpful. Our room was very clean and spacious with plenty of storage space. The bathroom was very clean with towels and free toiletries. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchenette in the room was very well equipped (fridge, cutlery, plates, glasses, saucepans, kettle, microwave, electric rings, washing up liquid, tea-towel and sponge). The aparthotel is walking distance from the centre of Caen (about 10/15 minutes), but there are bus stops nearby. One of the buses which passes near the aparthotel is number 12 which comes/goes to Ouistreham for the ferry to the United Kingdom. There is plenty of parking spaces as well. Highly recommended.

When I booked the room through Booking.com, I specifically asked for a twin bedroom and this was approved. When we got there, however, the bedroom which was allocated to us had a double bed. The receptionist was very helpful and as the cleaning staff was still on the premises, the double bed was separated to create two single beds. Considering that our floor was quite empty, it was strange that there were not more twin rooms available. If we had arrived after closing time and the cleaning staff were not there, we would have ended up with a double bed for a night or two. Not everybody who travels is a couple, so please more twin rooms. This is not a complaint, but a suggestion to the management of the company.

The kitchen facilities were great. I could prepare breakfast and dinner. The location was good for access, and had ample parking.

The shower was an awkward shape, so the curtain easily clung to me. As daytime temperatures were around 30 Celsius, the room was hot at night. A fan to move air would have been appreciated.

everything was good - the breakfast, the rooms and their facilities with studio kitchenette etc, the staff were lovely, the location into town and the bus routes were great. Caen is a very nice town with how it is spaced out and its attractions. The weather was also good.

nothing. there were no downsides to going to Caen and staying in this location.

Basic room but had everything we needed. Nice breakfast. Good to have basic cooking facilities and we found a local shop not too far away.

No instructions as to how to get into the car park. Luckily another visitor came at the same time and was able to let us in. Once in, lots of car parking spaces.

After a long days journey from the Exeter district the proximity of the accommodation to the Ferry Port was most welcome and we were very happy with the appartment which was fully equipped with kitchen facilities should we have needed to eat anything substantial. We were met by the night staff and given information about the direction to our room. The day staff were very pleasant and welcoming too. We will be using thios facility again when we next have to travel to the West Country.

The only slight down was that our boat was one hour late and consequently it was around 11pm and very dark when we arrived in a street with very similar groups of appartment buildings. Though there were not many peopl around we were directed to the Clos by a group of young men who had just arrived. home. We would have found the Clos but a slightly more obvious , perhaps illuminated sign might help other late arrivals. The entry board number pad was 'iffy' and only worked when it wanted to!

Very convenient to walk into the city (about 15 minutes to walk) and a nice clean room. We took our dog so were delighted that our room had a patio door leading out onto a garden so we could take our dog out easily. Plenty of green spaces nearby to walk the dog too.

Late arrival was easy with all information forwarded in good time. Large private carpark . Quiet. Comfy bed. Fridge, microwave, kettle, 3 essentials for me!

All went well for my stay!

The staff were really helpful and considerate, they had excellent English language skills which was also.a bonus when I had o .alter the multiple booking I did for.my work colleagues.
