Great Hotel. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The walk in shower was large and the whole bathroom area was well laid out and exceptionally clean. We ate in the restaurant and the staff could not have been more helpful as our food was cooked to order. Breakfast was also excellent and very varied and plenty of it too. The dining and breakfast area is welcoming and modern and well laid out. Parking is secure (payable) and at the side of the hotel behind electric gates and the car was very easy to go to if anything was needed to be removed. Staff were friendly all the time and nothing was ever a problem. Nice people. The hotel is easy to get to from the main routes so no issues there. You can walk to the centre of Caen easily to enjoy the city and there is also a large shopping mall just across from the hotel. Great City, Great hotel and I would recommend it. We will be staying here again in the future.

There was nothing I did not like.

While the outside of the hotel is unimpressive, and the proximity to the train station concerned me for noise, I loved this hotel. My room was quite modern and nicely decorated, and I marveled at how well laid out everything was. Someone put a lot of thought into the rooms, and they were totally quiet, despite the proximity to the train station. The staff was friendly and professional, and the free breakfast was a feast. This hotel is an incredible find at a reasonable price. All I can say is thank you!

Out of everything that i experienced at the hotel, the ONLY thing that bothered me at all was the towels. They were very old and had lost all of their softness. I found this surprising given that literally everything else about the hotel was perfect in my opinion.

This was a great hotel, in a fantastic location. Minutes walk to the train station, and close to car rentals. The check in was excellent, with our limited French, the attendant was able to speak English, and was very helpful. The room although very small to North American standards, it was spotless, and very comfy. Perfect for us as all we needed was a place to rest. Great restaurants just a short walk across the bridge, so we never tried the breakfast provided from the hotel. This building has a small lift to help with luggage transport. Overall great value for the money in a very clean, updated property.

Everything was great!

The personnel was very kind and they spoke English very well! The bar was nice, with good cocktails and large beers. Breakfast was good and convenient that it was until 11:00u on weekends. The parkinglot is small, so make sure to make a reservation, but it was private. So it was a good way to make sure we could park our car, and it was not as expensive as the public parking spaces.

The room was a bit narrow, so it was not very comfortable to walk around the bed. Also, we had a two person bedroom, but a sofa was unfolded into a one person bed, which mostly blocked the way around the twin bed. Small inconveniences, so we still had a good stay at this hotel!

the room was smaller than we expected, it basically just a bed and nothing more. Ah yes there is also a big tv hanging in the passage, not sure who even needs a tv in 2024.. I would throw it away to save some space. Also it would be nice if they had some sign indicating the parking location, as they only have a sign "private" on the gate, so we missed it and had to make another lap around the neighbourhood

Probably had a recent renovation because everything seemed relatively new, such as beds, shower, toilets, electronics and so forth. The reception were also nice and helpful. Location was also good as it was a tram ride away to most attractions.

The parking was a bit awkward. We had to reserve in advance but that didn't mean we had a dedicated space. We were lucky to park in one of the open spaces but not sure how the other guests parked afterwards.

Excellent well maintained modern and clean property. During our stay we had a technical issue where we got stuck for 45 minutes in a confined space. The owner and her husband came to the hotel and tried everything they could to get us out even though we were waiting for a mechanic. The husband of the owner eventually got us out. After we got out, because we were late to our dinner reservation they drove us to the restaurant. When we were eating they paid for our meal without telling us, as an apology for the situation. When we got back to the hotel, the owners had left a goodie bag with local products from the Normandy region in our room with a handwritten note to apologize for the situation. To the owners and staff my girlfriend and I want to say: Thank you for the way you handled the stressed situation with empathy. You are an example of excellent customer service, and we will definitely come back and stay with you again. Merci!

The hotel was at the walking distance from the city centre. The room was tiny but with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. There’s car park available to guests available upon request.

The room was really tiny, not comfortable for longer stays. We had impression that the hotel was understaffed as one person was doing multiple duties so the waiting time, especially in the evening, was long. The food offer could be improved.

The staff were very helpful. We had assumed that we would be able to park at the hotel but as we had not booked this in advance the parking was full. Fortunately as it was a Sunday the receptionist helpfully advised us that we could park for free nearby. As we were leaving the following morning this suited us. The same helpful receptionist gave us a good recommendation for dining out as we wanted to explore Caen a little. The breakfast was very good.

It would have been helpful to know when we booked that if we wanted to park in the hotel car park we needed to book in advance. It would be good to have a dairy alternative to milk available at the breakfast for those who cannot drink milk due to intolerance or allergy. This was available in one of the hotels we used while travelling in France and is common in UK hotels. The room was very nicely decorated and exceptionally clean but was very small. Fortunately my partner and I are both small and slim.

As we were doing some trips buy train and bus the location close to the train station was perfect. Also there is a number of restaurants in the shopping center across the street in case one is too late or tired to go to the town center for dinner. The room is modern but on the smaller side, the staff is friendly and there was a nice breakfast buffet. There is also a bar and 24h snacks. We didn't miss anything.

Since it's about 15 mins walk to the city center or a few minutes to the next tram station that bring you there, the price (230€/night) felt a bit high. On the other hand we were glad to find a room as most other hotels seemed to be fully booked.
