As we had a 6am train to Pontorson the next day, Hotel Mary's was just next to the station, which was ideal, although it curiously took us a little time to orientate ourselves to find it in the first place. We were allowed to place our bags in the dining room first, which they kindly brought up to our room later.

There were some vagrants near the station, and they were a little noisy at night, but we were snug in the hotel, so it didn't matter. The signage to recognize the hotel could be a little larger.

The welcome was outstanding. Maryse is an excellent and attentive front desk person. she single-handily took care of us and when we came back in the evening we found an impeccable room. I mean not just the cleanliness but also the the extra touch of folding our clothes and arranging our things. She calls it the “mom touch” (loosely translated from French). she even prepared us a last minute copious breakfast and two jambons beurre for our trip at an extremely reasonable price. Thank you Maryse, we will be back.

The room is clean, both the beds and bathroom. The receptionist is kind and helpful. We enjoy the breakfast and we like the diverse sauces it offers. It is really near the train, bus and tram station, so it is convenient for us to deposit the luggage and to catch our train.

The room is smaller than expected, and we have to reconnect to the Internet every few minutes.

Great location to the places I wanted to see. Staff very friendly and helpful. My room was clean, adequate, the free wifi was strong, TV functioned as designed, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was filling with bread, cheese, meat, yogurt, fruit juice, granola, etc. I was very comfortable and enjoyed my stay. I recommend Hotel Mary's, Caen Center Gare.

Everything. The place was spotless, next to the Gare and has a very affordable breakfast.

It has no elevator, but Mary's was always ready to help you with your bags. I mention it in case you are going to travel with elder people. I think the stairs would be hard for them.

Excellent location directly across from the train and bus station which perfectly suited our needs on this short trip. Room small but adequate. Great value for money.

Mattress was lumpy but okay for just the one night. Otherwise room was fine.

The breakfast was great! The hotel manager was excellent, very helpful and friendly! He even brought fans to our room and an ice pack for my wife’s swollen arm. Thanks, Hotel St. Mary’s!

Very convenient to the train station and car rental companies, and near by market. Staff was friendly, and facilities were clean and well cared for. Good value for money, breakfast at an additional cost met our needs before heading to D-day sites.

Super clean, free and easy parking nearby, and Mary was extremely helpful (we had an issue with our car, so she set us up with a mechanic and even offered to come with us to help with the language barrier).

We visited during an extremely hot period and without AC, we were quite uncomfortable. An elevator would also have been a plus.

Breakfast went great, several choices to choose from. plenty of coffee, and nice selection of juices, along with milk. The food was fresh, the entire breakfast area was spotless. We ask for an electrical adapter, it was brought to the room, quickly. .

Parking was a little tight, but we managed to get a space.
