Great location to walk to most places. View from terrace and room of the castle. Indoor pool with towels. Buffet continental breakfast. Restaurant served affordable excellent food. AC throughout. The shuttle bus to the airport stops nearby. Coffee shop and snacks can be purchased in lobby. Free drinking water dispenser. Clean toilets in reception area and on restaurant floor. Friendly helpful staff. Safety deposit box in room. Comfortable bed and clean linen. Cleanliness.

This is a well designed and tasteful hotel for couples and singles. They have made maximum use of the space with clever design features in the rooms and common areas, and they have a cool bar at the top that's worth a visit. Our little balcony had a beautiful view of the river and the fortified town (which was only 10 mins walk away - main town square was 5 mins or less away). The beds were incredibly comfortable and every inch of the hotel was spotlessly clean. A big, big thank you to the lady on the front desk who not only battled with the taxi company on our behalf when they did not turn up to collect us as booked, but she kindly rushed to open and hold the door for us when we returned to the hotel in the middle of a big thunderstorm and were going to get drenched!

We had a good one night stay at this hotel. As I understand it, this hotel brand is supposed to be cheap, comfortable, practical and without many luxuries. So this is what we were expecting and we had a good stay. We found free parking right outside the hotel. The check in was quick and easy. The room is quite small (as advertised so no surprise here) but very clean and equipped with everything you need. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean and modern and everything worked great (maybe another hook for towels would be nice). The location is really great. Very easy to get around the city by foot. The check out was also quick and easy and the staff was very friendly. So all in all, we had a good stay.

When we arrived, it was like 20 C outside but the room was so cooled down by the AC that a polar bear would have felt comfortable. But no problem, we turned it off, went out to visit the city and had a perfect temperature room during the night. The toilet is in an extra room and it is really tiny. We were on the first floor and had some noises from outside (I don’t think the windows are very well isolated) but we still had a good night’s sleep

Excellent location, easy walking distance to everything. Nice facilities in the hotel, coffee shop and bar both great. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but saw food coming out whilst in the bar and it looked delicious! Got the little things right that sound simple but are often overlooked in hotels; usb and usb-c chargers on both sides of the bed, shampoo and conditioner and body wash in the shower (not an all in one hand, hair and body wash); check out time 12 o’clock. The view from the rooftop balcony is amazing and, if you can, I’d highly recommend upgrading to a room with balcony and view - I’ve never paid for an upgraded room just for the view before but it was well worth it on this occasion (and very reasonably priced!)

Check in process was a bit hectic! We arrived early and didn’t expect the room to be ready but wanted to drop our bags off. We were told the room was ready, got the key and headed up but the room was still being cleaned. No real problem and we happily dropped the bags off and returned later.

location is great, loved sitting on the balcony looking towards the castle of an evening. yes there’s a road outside but it quietens down by the evening. great to have the rooftop bar and the small bar and cafe downstairs. The staff were very helpful. Room was generously sized. we liked the decor, had a trendy and modern feel to it. would stay again.

The bathroom and the toilet are separate and the toilet room is comically small. Your knees touch the door. Personally it wasn’t a problem, to my amusement my husband found it easier to open the door to pull his trousers up. but I f you have accessibility needs (or feel strongly about wanting to stand up to use the loo) I’d maybe ring ahead and check this out first. we had a comfort twin room for reference.

The hotel is situated in a good location; just beware the the Citie has changed the road layout in the vicinity and satellite navigation has yet to be updated (July 2023). The location is an easy walk to the historic citadel. The hotel itself is lovely; having modern facilities as well as friendly laidback staff. The room was spacious and comfortable. I would recommend booking a room with a balcony overlooking the old town of Carcassonne. It is a memory well worth paying the extra for. The hotel has it’s own exclusive and secure underground car park with direct access to the hotel via one flight of stairs.

It would be good to have electric car charging facilities; even a 13A socket would help with overnight top up. I would have gladly paid for that.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The views over the river towards the Chateau were amazing and the staff were, without exception, friendly and helpful and working most energetically to make their guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience.

I understand some of the comments, elsewhere on this review site, that the hotel might improve its overall maintenance. However, my personal experience was superb and I was more than happy to overlook small issues.

The hotel is perfectly situated close to the city centre and the medieval cite. The room was very comfortable, breakfast and dinner were excellent and would recommend the roof terrace with a great view of the city walls. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially when my flight was cancelled.

I disliked the orange and black decor in the rooms and black corridors. It was hard to find appliances in the room and locate the lifts due to this.

Almost everything, super cool interiors, modern design room very well equipped, with also a Nespresso machine with 2 caps offered. Comfy bed, super shower. The terrace offers an outstanding view of the castle. They have a pay parking, but parking the car nearby is pretty easy (ask for info about where to park). Friendly and helpful staff. Very recommended.

Nothing to complain, just some notices: a bit expansive but in line with local prices of similar structures; the view of the cheaper room is a bit... "cheap" itself, let me say. Anyway, everything super ok.

The location was perfect, very central. Staff couldn’t be more helpful, our flight was cancelled due to strikes and the staff straight away sorted us out. They advised on buses, times etc to Lake and showed us where to get on. Rooms cleaned regularly & we had an amazing view of the river & castle Breakfast was lovely, lots of fresh, varied options

Liked everything Maybe could have done with milk for my cuppa!
