It's a beautiful hotel set in charming grounds. The restaurant provides an excellent dining experience. The buildings and grounds are simply beautiful with added bonus' of stunning views and constant bird song from the specimen trees. I had a wonderful two night stay and felt no temptation to leave the hotel. Thank you all for a lovely stay

I would have liked to be able to hang the shower rose over the bath such that I had both hands free to shower.

Lovely setting above the town, in its own park with great views across the valley. Good secure parking in the grounds. Large and comfortable room, well equipped with the usual facilities and good wifi connection. As an unexpected bonus, it has a side business running wine tastings and selling good wines at fair prices.

The breakfast was good as continental breakfasts go, but lacked a cooked offering.

It was my fault that I didn’t make a reservation for dinner . We arrived late and was told no ….. the reception person was very gracious …. The person she asked at the restaurant was very curt but I assumed they were overwhelmed . As I said it was our fault . Fair warning to anyone staying …. Plan ahead . We ended up with walking to a store in town . Just as well as we were heading to Père Bise in Talloires the next night. Breakfast was very nice as was the staff .

Room was very old but very nice and the bathroom worked well. Dinner was ok but menu choice limited

There were a lot of staff but it was very pretentious and not particularly friendly. The breakfast was not good value for money. We were down an hour before the end of service and there was little choice. Croissants had not been replenished or eggs. Very disappointing.

We loved the history of the various buildings. Immediately we entered there was a feeling of undeniable calm. The grounds, all public areas and our room were all well kept, clean and superb. All staff made us feel very welcome. The bed was super comfy.

Absolutely nothing negative to say about this lovely hotel.

Charming hotel location on the top of a hill with a beautiful park and view. Excellent for visiting the region if you come by car. The style of the room, a bit retro, was elegant and nice. Good facilities. Excellent breakfast in a beautiful and large room in the main castle. Take a look at the transparent window on the floor overlooking the wine cellar.

The shower in the bath, although beautiful, is not very practical. Everything around it gets wet very quickly. Minor comment: you don't know the room location when you book; our two "Charming Double Rooms" were not in the castle but in an annex.

Indeed a castle with very well preserved old furniture which helps you dive in the atmosphere of a real castle. They have a cellar which can be visited. In addition they sell wines, sets and separate bottles. A huge plus for any pet owner: dogs are allowed ❤️

Beautiful, quiet hotel and grounds for a good price. Excellent dinner and welcoming staff in the restaurant (would recommend reserving a table beforehand). Free parking on the property.

Breakfast was expensive (14€) and unappetising - slice of bread, few selections of meat and bad machine coffee. Would recommend eating breakfast elsewhere. Cleanliness was not great. Our room/bathroom was cleaned only superficially.

The room and the location were excellent.

We came last year and were received by a gentleman extremely helpful. We were happy to repeat the experience but this year we were very disappointed by the lady at the desk. Not very pleasant. Also breakfast is very expensive.

We arrived very late and left the next day and the castle served its purpose to provide a good place to sleep. Professional staff and gorgeous garden.

The corridors are very narrow and the interior a bit outdated. We didn’t booked a breakfast but didn’t miss it as judging by the look it wasn’t anything special.
