Absolutely fantastic location. Beautiful view of the mountains from the room. The garden was very spacious with a sitting area to rest. There was a joint bathroom however there were no issues with accessing it and it was all very clean. The kitchen was full of supplies which was extremely helpful. The owners were so friendly always willing to help. The location was excellent - on the outskirts of Chamonix but with easy access to the city. Breakfast was great; there was a choice of cereal, yoghurt, eggs, bread, croissants, juice, tea and coffee, however some fruit/vegetable options would have been greatly appreciated.

The lighting in the room was a little dim.

We believe it was the best value for money stay in the area. The chalet is located in near the train and bus stations that easily take you to the ski resorts in the surrounding valleys. The room was decently sized for the 3 of us to spend the nights, while we could use the kitchen facilities and other facilities freely, which provided more convenience. Importantly, there's a real nice hotel right in front of the chalet which provides the feeling of staying in a resort whenever we spent our evenings there (in their lobby/restaurant areas). We also enjoyed our interactions with Phil, the host, who was very accommodating to us when we wanted our breakfast served earlier than usual due to our morning ski lessons. It was easy to communicate with him via whatsapp whenever we needed some guidance on any topic about the area. Overall... very satisfied with our 5-night stay during the peak ski season.

The negative parts that we can point are: 1) the bus station to Les Houches is about 13 - 15 mins walk away from the chalet through a muddy area, which can be gruesome when carrying ski gears with ski boots on. The bus and train stations to Chamonix, which is in opposite direction from Les Houches, is much more convenient and are located really near. So if you're mostly skiing in Chamonix, this chalet remains utmost convenient. 2) there are no shops or stores near the chalet, only restaurant is at the hotel next door (which was ok for us).

We stayed for a week after Christmas over the new year at Chalet and had the best time. The accommodation was just what we needed, clean, functional, perfect temperature ( not too hot, often places in the snow heat the rooms too much and you end up sweating, the temperature in the chalet was perfect). There was a communal kitchen so we were able to save money by cooking our own meals in the kitchen. Breakfast was served every morning, fresh croissants and baguettes from the oven, fresh coffee, juice, butter, jams, cereals, perfect start to the day. We really enjoyed these breakfasts as we all ate together, got to meet new people, share lovely chats about the place, the snow conditions and receive really helpful information and recommendations about the best places to go. We saw wild deer in the garden at night! Amazing! The host was kind, helpful and we really enjoyed our chats every morning at breakfast. If we came back to Chamonix we wold definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect home base for a few days solo in Chamonix! The view was phenomenal (I stayed in the small double room with doors to the terrace), the bed was comfortable, and it was super easy to take the bus (and walk) to and from town. I slept in, so I didn’t partake in breakfast, but it always smelled great. Phil was very nice, and it was interesting to hear his perspective on living in this phenomenal place. They do what they do very well, and it’s wonderful to have a pretty, comfortable, and affordable spot to sleep in this expensive, crowded valley. Other reviewers have noted that it doesn’t have a hotel vibe, but that is clearly advertised and is part of the charm.

The house and our room was so cute! It was a classic mountain Chalet that was perfect to relax in after a long day in the cold. The host Phil was super nice and definitely went above and beyond for us. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and also the perfect moment to chat with other guest or get advice on the best things to do. There’s also lots of public transport that can take you into Chamonix.

Nothing! It was great

I loved our stay here. The room and chalet are very cute, and it has an incredible view. It is very easy to use the bus to get into town or there is a nice long walk you can take. Breakfasts were lovely, the food was good, it was really nice sitting with our host and other guests. Phil was really accommodating and a great host. I hope we can return here someday :)

Nothing it was perfect.

The chalet was so cute and comfortable and clean! Phil and Michelle were so kind and welcoming. Phil made a great breakfast each morning and was able to help us out with all our questions and gave us great recommendations on where to ski, what to do, where to rent gear, etc. I would recommend this place to everyone.

The close bus only comes 5 times a day, and the next closest is about an 8 minute walk but its not a big deal at all.

The owners do their very best to make the guests' stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are neatly maintained, as is the rich breakfast. I have had fascinating conversations with the owner, who is an avid golf fanatic. The location is ideal, located just off a main road yet in a quiet neighbourhood. Nice view of the different mountain ranges. I wish Philippe and his lovely wife every success with the further exploitation of this fine B&B.

World class view from the balcony which I wasn't expecting. Incredible walks from Chalet -'Le Junction'. Free train/ bus 5 minutes walk from Chalet. Use of kitchen/ fridge. Nice garden. Boiled eggs for breakfast. Chilled host who was informative and friendly. Nice firm bed.

Simple but proper and tasty french breakfast with coffee, orange juice, tea, etc. Balcony overlooking the Mont Blanc massif, excellent views! Very comfortable beds in the rooms and immediately hot water from the shower. Amazing owners who know the kind of people visiting and can advise on activities, food or just have a little chat.

The bathroom was a little dated with a small shower and the door- and windowsills were a little weathered. However, this also added to the charm of the B&B. I'm really nitpicking here. If you want luxury, stay at a hotel and not a B&B. If you want good people, a place to sleep and some laughs, go here.
