Booked to visit nearby Utah, Omaha, etc. beaches on our own - they're around 45-60 minutes away by car, if you're doing it on your own the value for money is a lot better when branching out from Cherbourg. If you are old enough to know the movie Umbrellas of Cherbourg, there are plenty of easter eggs within 10 minutes walking distance. Really liked the location - right next to a big shopping center for food, but close to historical downtown. Cherbourg itself is very charming and this hotel is just the same. Clean, organized, helpful staff. The room was spacious and well accessorized to prepare simple meals. Parking gate was a little tight, but great to have a protected space for the car. You need to call ahead or pickup the card from the front desk, to open the garage gate in the side street. Staff were very helpful!

We couldn't figure out any air conditioning, admittedly we stayed for only two days that weren't too warm, so we didn't go after the topic too much. But simply following what was on the wall didn't do anything. It this is important for you, double check beforehand - but windows could be fully opened, so it's perfectly managable.

Great location, a few minutes walk from train station. Basic but comfortable room, bathroom and kitchenette. Lots of room for a single traveller. Friendly and helpful staff. Good quality coffee (from machine) in the breakfast room, which for me is an essential! Continental breakfast is good quality and worth the added price.

It would be nice to have had an electric fan in the room as it was too noisy for me to sleep with the window open. But otherwise, no complaints at all.

We got a pet friendly uber from the port to the hotel as we had a lot of luggage. A very warm welcome upon arrival from the staff at reception. We stayed in a pet friendly room, which was huge. It was spotlessly clean and so comfortable, we had a great night's sleep. The room is well equipped and has a fridge which is always an added bonus. It is also within walking distance of the train station and shopping centre.Can't wait to come back again, thank you for a lovely stay.

I've stayed here before so I knew what to expect. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean and effective. My window looked out towards the back and away from the main road, which is what I wanted (more quiet). Staff are friendly; the building is right across from a Carrefour and shopping centre and 7 minutes walk to the train station. I will definitely stay here again.

We arrived by bicycle a little early but the friendly receptionist was happy to enquire if our room was ready. It was and there was no problem for us to book in sooner than expected. Our bicycles were well looked after by wheeling them through the lobby and into the secure carpark behind the accommodation. Everything was exceptionally clean. We did not use the little kitchenette as the aparthotel was situated conveniently to several eating places. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the centre of Cherbourg

Every thing was as expected as we have stayed here before. We always choose this accommodation as it’s within walking distance of the shops and many Restaurants.

Requested early check in and when we arrived it hadn’t been put on the system even though I had received an email saying that it was confirmed and how much it was. Also there we’re Road works outside & it would of been helpful if we had been informed before we arrived.

location was great, room was very clean, simple but very practical and suited us perfectly

there was a very strong smell of either paint or plaster in the room which was very noticeable each time we returned to the room, didn't ruin our stay but was a bit unpleasant

Reception staffs are 100% nice and helpful, and always smiling to everyone. There is enough space in the room for luggage’s. Tablewares and cooking equipment are full supplied. Hot water in bathroom is easily adjustable.

Some windows are not clean, but that’s from outside. can’t complain about this.

The staff is friendly, the location is perfect, and the room is quite big, it's more of a mini apartment with a kitchen rather than just a hotel room. I really liked it!

A brilliant find. Very comfortable accommodation, with kitchen facilities if you should need them. Staff were very helpful, storing our bikes undercover.

I wouldn’t bother with the breakfast again, it’s only a short walk across the road to the Les Eleis centre where there are plenty of places to eat. Also recommend Wok Sun for the Chinese buffet.
