We stopped off on an Inter Rail trip after the ferry from Ireland. This was a small, cosy hotel in a very central location close to a number of shops and restaurants and just 20 mins walk from the railway station. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the hotel rooms had recently been tastefully refurbished. Breakfast was excellent and the overall price very fair.

The staff gave us a bigger room, just because it was available. It had a special bedroom for children where our baby slept quietly. It was so cosy and comfortable. We will come back at every occasion.

The hotel, in an old classic building, was being renovated here and there. But it did not impact our stay, and was probably about to be finished.

The staff member was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very central, close to many of Cherbourg's facilities. Despite the central location it was quiet which made for a relaxing stay. The continental breakfast was good value. I would stay again should I be in Cherbourg.

The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is new with a walk-in shower. The breakfast was delicious. The host was very helpful. The hotel is near a large car park and the charges were exceptionally reasonable. We would stay in Hotel Napoléon again.

The hotel is great value, clean, roomy, and in a brilliant location. The couple who run it are accommodating, warm, and incredibly helpful. They allowed us to keep our (many) bags in their small reception area free of charge. They filled our flask with hot water and allowed us to wait in their breakfast area while we waited for a taxi. I definitely recommend 👌

Fantastic location, lovely Room, owners couldn't be nicer people, Breakfast was excellent would recommend to anyone although there was no lift but that is clearly stated on the hotel description I am disabled but can manage some stairs which I did quite easily at this hotel I give them 10 out of 10.

We liked everything about this hotel please try the bistro a few doors away it was excellent.

The lady messaged us with the code to enter and left the room key in reception as we arrived earlier than planned!

The location and our room at the front meant that when the local nightclub closed at 5am the revellers spilled out right outside the hotel. The noise from cars and taxis plus drunken revellers kept us awake from 5am to 7am!

Excellent breakfast, excellent staff ....we returned as we enjoyed it so much last year. They had updated the facilities.

This was beyond the hotel Napoleon control... outside Noise as the hotel is located next to a restaurant and other cafes...

Everything . Very quaint French Hotel on the square up from the port . A very nice pub and across the road a sports bar if anyone was interested . lovely room and great value .v

Veronique was absolutely amazing, we were travelling from disneyland to stay with her, we asked to extend our check in time to 10pm which was no problem, we were running late with traffic to which she was so kind and again was no problem. When we arrived she greeted us with pure kindness, told us where to park as there was free parking around the corner, she also advised us of a place to eat up the road from the hotel. So so helpful ☺ we had a family room which was huge, it consisted of 2 interjoining rooms, a bathroom, and a wash room. It was so clean. There was fluffy blankets on all the beds and it was so comfortable.
