An antidote to bland chain hotels with a warm family welcome, all around great staff and a fantastic restaurant. Also easy to find with parking front and back. If you want the latest, highest specification design and room features, this is not your place. However be realistic about what you are paying and enjoy the welcome, the food and the ambience - you won't be disappointed. We liked it so much we are intending a specific visit as this time we were passing through.

I will make one negative comment, if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room at the back as the main road that the hotel is situated upon can be noisy, no fault of the hotel of course.

the.room was.very spaceous and clean. we had a very confy stay and a good rest at night. The building has its own charm as it is old but very functional and warm!

The checkin was a bit confising, be prepeated to have a valid sim for make a phone call, but then everything went smooth and easy

Absolutely charming 1920's Hotel with loads of gorgeous, original features including creaky floors drippy taps and a slightly spooky ambience. The restaurant was exceptionally good and we were able to dine on the terrace accompanied by our little dog. It was genuinely of the best meals we've had in years and it was made even better by the excellent staff and friendly locals We LOVED La Sirene.

It's just a really nice hotel considering what you pay for it. Lovely people, lovely art too! The food might seem simple, but the taste is fantastic! I would.highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely old fashioned hotel in a quiet small town. Amazing entrance lobby and wooden staircase. Rooms large, bathroom fairly basic with shower cubicle, washbasin and toilet but satisfactory. Bed very comfortable. Restaurant was superb, wonderful food. Breakfast basic but good continental buffet. Staff exceptionally friendly throughout stay

Breakfast excellent, location suitable for journey to south Deutschland as half way between Calais and Karlsruhe

I really loved the well preserved style, which made us feel like entering a hotel in a 1950s movie.

The lack of understanding for children from other guests (interestingly having a child themselves).

The gentleman who checked me in was very helpful and polite, he also spoke good English. The restaurant serves tasty food! Secure parking for my motorcycle!

The hotel is a little tired, it needs some attention shown to the small details.

The photos are abolutely how it is. The building itself is old and has a real atmosphere. The parking behind the hotel is soo perfect.

The town itself seems to shut down at around 22h.

The room though sizable had somewhat worn furniture. It made the stay less enjoyable.
