Simple, clean, not luxurious but value for money in a quiet small (rundown) French town. Very friendly staff in family-like setting. Ample parking space in front of the property.
The AC outlets are very limited in fact only one along the floor at an awkward place. Working on a laptop which needs to be plugged in becomes a hassle.

Friendly staff and helpful. there was no kettle but they gave me 2 mugs and let me use their microwave to heat water for tea. Bed very comfortable. Plenty of heating. The TGV meuse stop is right outside so arriving from Paris couldn't be easier.

Room is functional and suitable for a short stay. Very clean with a comfortable bed. Both important. Breakfast was adequate. Good carparking facilities. There is a restaurant but it was not open when I stayed. Maybe because end of season, mid-week.

Staff very welcoming. Great, relaxed atmosphere. Good prices. My flask for teh long day ahead was filled foc no questions asked.
At the time of our visit, no evening meals were available. Beds weren't the most comfortable but, as tired as we were, we got a good sleep.

Manager couldn’t have been more helpful when we had a bike issue. Managed to get help to get us on our way again. Staff were always happy to help and cheerful

Free parking, quiet location within walking distance from town, friendly and helpful staff, clean bedroom, big double bed, plenty of room in bathroom, good WiFi.
Nasty smell from toilet room. Breakfast too expensive.

The village is just charming. It's an enchanting old ruin with old buildings from centuries of great french architecture. Hotel is one of those gems that you rarely find these days.

Staff members dealt generously and efficiently with a double booking I had accidentally made through booking.com. Also the location in the former railway station was very good.
