the ambiance and the setting was fabulous with the added advantage of being able to relax in their grounds

I really wanted to enjoy their selection of fine foods in the restaurant. My wife is a vegetarian and having enquired twice the best that they could offer, reluctantly was a plate of mixed vegetables which we had to refuse and go elsewhere, very upset. I know it’s France but it’s so easy to offer something more substantial even a pasta or veggie burger would have enticed us to stay and I could have then enjoyed their meat and fish dishes.

Very peaceful location and surroundings but close enough to walk into Honfleur bearing in mind it's downhill there but uphill coming back! Weather was great so had meals at the hotel on two nights and ate outdoors which was very pleasant.

Our room (superior double) was a little cramped but was comfortable and clean.

A quiet laid back hotel. Very refined in a unique kind of way. The building has a long history dating back to the early 1800's. It's a little bit out from Honfleur nestled in a wooded area. Very quiet with a variety of wildlife, flowers and informally tended gardens. The food was first class and was available either inside, or in our case outside in the gardens, on a glorious sunny evening. Ideal for a quiet restful get away from it all stay.

Wifi erratic and unreliable.

Location was good. We were able to walk into Honfleur in 15minutes. More strenuous on the way back. Staff were very good and very happy to help when we had a problem with our car. Food was good and pretty good value.

The bedroom was clean. Lots of mosquitoes and no facility in very hot weather to have a window open - only door on to fire escape, which had no mosquito nets. Shower had to be hand held as fixture loose.

We stayed for 2 nights in August - such a peaceful setting away from the busy centre of Honfleur (which is at a walkable distance). Parking at the hotel was plentiful and secure. The room was a good size and very clean. We had breakfast there which was good and we ate at the restaurant one evening - great food and popular so booking a table is recommended.

Had read previous reviews about this place. All reviews were very true. Beautiful place. Grade view of Honfleur from above after a short walk. Short walk into town. Had a 5 star dinner at the Hotels restaurant. The owners husband and wife do everything for their guest. Best place to stay in Honfleur.

Nothing, would of liked to stay longer.

The hotel is in a beautiful old building in a peaceful rural location. The dinner was absolutely delicious. I was really pleased that the breakfast included gluten-free bread and cake.

There are two horses on the property and beautiful gardens . it’s quiet and serene .

it was away from the bustle of Honfleur and you could see beautiful views of the town on the walk down .

Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms. The dinner was very good.

The room was a bit on the smaller side. And no standing shower so you needed to kneel in the tub.

A kettle in the room with tea/coffee would have been nice
