What a lovely welcome by the Hotel Manager, and a surprise to receive the best room in the hotel facing straight onto the Vrijthof stage. So wonderful to have a balcony view, just a pity there was no concert on that night, but we still enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere on the balcony overlooking the marketplace with its cafes and restaurants. We felt special!!! The room was very comfortable, as was the bed, and the bathroom had a lovely big shower in it, and everything was super clean. The decor is an older style, in keeping with the historic hotel, and very tastefully fitted so that you had everything at your fingertips!! We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast in their breakfast room, so couldn't be happier!!!. Parking was also no issue, as it was next to the hotel. We received assistance with our luggage and there was also a lift to get to our floor. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Perfect location!!!

Can't fault the hotel, everything was just right!!!

Really good alternative for families with kids as the room we had was quite big, with up to 6 beds available, two bedrooms and cleaning service every day. The price includes breakfast in form of buffet . Next to the hotel backery, pizzeria plus tram station with direct tram connection to Stuttgart. On the way to Stuttgart quite big shopping centre with Auchan, so you can do any additional shopping you need. Parking space in hotel (extra paid but reasonable price) or in the nearest neighbourhood

Nothing particular, maybe a little bit too crowded restaurant during the breakfast time, buffet could have more salads (note we are vegetarian) plus as this hotel is combined from two building (old and new), the communication in the building is a little bit confusing at the beginning. But summing up these are not aspects that would stop us from recommending this place for a stay.

Room was very comfortable & a welcome retreat after a long day. Hotel is centrally located with its own car park which was very handy, but there is also a free car park next to the hotel car park which you can also use. Tram stop outside the hotel which is super convenient for the 20 mins journey into the centre of Strasbourg (super easy journey). Had lunch at the hotel which was delicious & the kitchen stayed open to serve me which was so appreciated. Reception staff extremely smiley & courteous & helped with info about getting on the tram. Breakfast good. Would definitely recommend & would stay again.

The only thing was the room was hot - there was no AC, although a cold air fan had been left in my room. I later found out that part of the hotel had been renovated & those rooms had AC. The part of the hotel I stayed in had not yet been renovated & therefore had no AC. Wasn't too bad, but can imagine in the height of the summer it would be pretty hot.

This is the second time for staying this hotel. EV charge was the first reason. Also quite and lovely neighborhood, good location. Nice rooms.

Thank you for having EV charge stations in your hotel! This time unfortunately we couldn’t charge our electrical car. Because another car was using. There are two charging stations for Tesla, and one for the other cars. I hope you will have more than one for all cars.

Great location, tram in front of the hotel that takes you directly to Strasbourg. Family room was comfortable with 2 floors. Breakfasts were perfect for us. Scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausage, cheese, ham, various french sweet pastries, little pancakes, all for your musli with fruits etc Very nice and helpful staff. Surrounding of the hotel is also good. It is a nice neighborhood. With Auchan if you want to take some french delicatessen home.

Rooms are big and sound proofed. Wifi was excellent for a change. Police station is next door so security is OK I guess :)... Tram station is under the window but you can not hear it.

Garage is so strange.. If you have big car you need to park outside. Even though I have asked and they confirmed reserved space during my stay I had to park on the street the second night because the garage was full.

Definitely the biggest asset is the hotel’s location and the easiness of accessing Strasbourg city centre. To me Hotel d’Alsace is a perfect place where you get everything you need- comfy bed, spacious room, breakfast, parking space. We will be back for sure.

Just one thing- more veggies for breakfast. Other than this- great place.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a good Internet connection. The hotel is located just next to the tramway line, which gives direct access to the Strasbourg city center (in around 30 minutes). Easy access both in train (direct tramway from the Strasbourg Central Station) and by car. The interaction with the staff before the check-in was really excellent, they helped us with the late check-in and they reserved a parking place.

We asked for 3 rooms close together. The intention was there, since we had 3 consecutive rooms. But one of them was on a different floor... The breakfast was not really worth the price, and the staff seemed to have difficulties in managing the peak breakfast demand on a Saturday morning.

Well located, nice facilities and good breakfast

The room and its bathroom are clean but do not offer much space if you have to use the room for other purposes than sleeping (definitely when comparing with the room I had in the new part during a previous stay): small desk, poor lighting, no fridge, no integrated AC (but a standalone unit is available). Shower head should be renewed. Private parking quite expensive (9€/night).

We stayed here in Dec 2022 to go to Colmar and Strasbourg Christmas markets. The hotel is in a nice area with convenient onsite parking for a fee. The room was spacious and clean. It is located right next to a train stop that takes you directly downtown Strasbourg in 20+min.
