A compact mini apartment with everything you need, large room, big bathroom, nice linens, towels, complimentary tea, coffee and coffee cakes. Well situated a few minutes walk to the ocean. The terrace was nice, too. If you arrive before 5pm, there is a receptionist at the front desk. The WiFi worked great. Parking on site. A great value.

It was hard to find the apartment complex, for some reason if you look up the address in Google maps, you end up in a university campus a couple of kilometers away. Fortunately, some friendly locals explained how to get there. The hot water in the kitchen never got really hot even though we did wait a few minutes according with the instructions. The stove top seemed to be malfunctioning, but for a one night stay it was okay, we managed to get our food warm.

East to locate via Sat nav. Wonderful greeting by young staff , all who spoke good English. On site parking . Excellent location overlooking the marina and short walk to beach . Didn’t know it was student accommodation, but well equipped , excellent pool !!! Included . Best student accommodation ever . Would stay again if ever in the area

No Air con or fan . May get hot in full summer . Small point as it’s excellent value for money

Good size pool which was well cleaned. Great location, only a minutes walk to the beach. Friendly staff. Fridge and cooker allowed simple meals to be prepared meaning we could avoid eating out more than we wanted to.

Very lumpy pillows. Smoking in nearby rooms came through our window at night. It might have been nice to use the pool later in the evening but the attendant started cleaning it at about 8:30, although I appreciate the pool needed to be cleaned.

Lovely staff - very helpful. Was well equipped for a short stay. Had a nice pool, parking and was easy to get a but to La Rochelle. There were ample nearby bars, shops and a market on Monday. Perfect for a short stay.

My only complaint would be the design of the bathroom. The toilet was right in front of the shower and I had to sit diagonally on the loo as my legs would not fit between the toilet and the wall. Oh and the fact that you were expected to take out any rubbish yourself. Kind of killed the I'm on holiday vibe.

Great location, close to the beach and a pleasant walk into La Rochelle and with a bus stop just around the corner. Boat bus also available from the marina to the old port. The pool is lovely with comfortable sun loungers and parasols. Our room was clean and comfortable and it was nice and quiet. Staff are friendly. Easy to collect keys from a lock box for late arrivals.

Our bathroom was fairly cramped, but fine.

very helpful staff, lovely room with a beautiful view. it’s located very nicely with a bus stop nearby and the beach 2 mins away. we missed our first flight so had to check in the day after our original booking. the staff here were very understanding, doing their best to communicate and sort things out for us. thank you!

on our last night, we noticed water flowing into our room (4th floor) and opened the door to see the corridor flooded with water. we couldn’t locate where it was coming from. there was nobody to report this to but it was still there the next morning.

It is very good when you accept that it is not a normal hotel, but a large residence where you have to clean the room and the dishes yourself, as well as to collect the garbage and bed laundry before you leave. The room is very practical with a basic, but sufficient kitchenette. Very good wi-fi. We had a room on the ground floor with the swimming pool / garden view where we could sit and eat also outside. The hot water comes when you wait some time, so it is not a problem. Limited secured parking places inside for reasonable 5 euro, but you can also park free of charge outside at the large port parking place. Great boulangerie and restaurants are 2 minutes walking distance. We recommend the restaurant Le Delphine across the street: great food for reasonable prices and very friendly service. You can walk to the old city of La Rochelle (around 40 minutes walk), you can take a little ferry across the bay for 1 euro to make it a bit shorter. Nice possibilities to walk also the other direction by the shore.

The location was perfect. Close to restaurants and the beach. Water taxi approximately 5 minutes walk away to get into La Rochelle. Only 3 Euro and takes about 10 minutes. Nice pool and plenty of sunbeds. Room was basic but fine and had everything we needed. Clean with a small kitchen unit. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location was excellent. Sophie in reception was amazing and so so helpful. The place was very clean. Other residents were very friendly. It was a lovely place and would definitely come back.

The fact that the pool just closed the day before we came was disappointing. There were a few homeless around the area and it made us very uneasy at times.

The hot water situation, having to turn it on fully and let it run for a long time for it to come through and th sink hot water really only came Luke warm. Big water wastage. Outdoor area needs a good tidy.
