Brilliant hotel..good price..wonderful breakfast Central location..with everything to hand. We used the underground carpark @ 17 ev per night..but..if you use your car..there is no guarantee of getting a place upon return..but they will refund. We left the car for 3 days..as outside space was very expensive.. Only problem with our room.406..was the sink plumbing..took ages to drain away... Reception staff were helpful..happy and great As were Catering and cleaning staff.. The tv in the room was quite large..for a change Wifi was good...we would certainly stay here again and would recommend it. There were a few beggars around..but they were tidily dressed...and quite polite if you said NO.

We came to visit friends that live in Lille. My husband is disabled uses a wheelchair the hotel was clean and very accessible. Our room was spacious and quiet. It was excellent value. The staff were welcoming and very happy to help.They supported me with booking taxis and questions about the area nothing was too much trouble. My French is not good there English was excellent. Breakfast was well run. Food was plentiful. The location is in a good position in Lille. Everything is close by my husband even got a haircut.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The room was perfect with a fantastic bathroom, the bed was very comfortable and the room was also spotlessly clean, the staff are exceptionally friendly and very helpful, the Heineken beer was perfect and reasonably priced and there is plenty of choice with the breakfast.

I have been staying at this hotel when I visit Lille for over 7 years and I will keep saying the same that the 17 euro per night to park your car is extortionate and you are unable to park your car on the streets because it would not be safe. Most hotels only charge 10 euro for there carparks

Rayann and Guillame and indeed all staff were so helpful during Olympics. Friendly and great advise how to get around Lille. Room was good and clean. Central location which 10 min walk to old town. Breakfast was good and refillable water was very handy. Staff at breakfast worked hard to keep restocked and clean. Crossiants were lovely. Thank you for great stay during hectic Olympics.

Minor issue as electricity to AC went out during last night. Window wouldn't open but lucky temp.dropped during that night so we were OK.

The hotel was in a good location, just on the edge of the old town. It was clean and functional. The breakfast had enough variety to be good for a couple of days. The staff were very helpful and friendly and responded to our request to unblock the shower drain very quickly. There are lots of good restaurants in easy walking distance. The station is a 20-minute walk, and metro stops are nearby.

The rooms are quite small and the beds are hard but that's perhaps a personal preference!

The room and hotel in general was clean, with comfortable bed and desk to work. Also around, you find lot of shops, restaurants etc. it’s perfect place for a short trip. Very nice and helpful staff

-The room was really cold, unfortunately the isolation is not the best.. - it’s missing some shelf etc to unpack, which for longer stay it’s not so comfortable. But for a short trip I think it should not be a big deal.

Location was good in waking distance to places, you got a breakfast which was ok,

First morning breakfast was full and food nice and hot, 2nd day there was no orange juice, so had to ask, then no scrambled egg / or bacon the guy checking things did all the cold stuff first then I did hot stuff so was waiting 10 mins then only egg came out so waited for bacon when that arrived it looked half cooked so had scrambled egg and it was cold. . I must say it was the smallest room I have stayed in at a Holiday Inn Express and have stayed in a few, our room had a gap n the door where you could see the light from hallway through it so would say that was not fire safety protected.

The location was great, as you were pretty much in the center of the city and had easy access to the metro (if you are keen on using it) and the main sights. The breakfast was good, although there could be more options. The room I stayed in was a good size and was pretty clean. The bed was cozy. The room was nice and quiet, despite being informed at check in that they were renovating the floor above mine. Staff were lovely and you have 24 hour staff available at reception. Being able to check out at 12:00 is nice (compared to other hotels that require you to check out earlier).

The room is a bit dated, but that is a minor thing. The doors are a bit thin, you can hear when people passing by are talking loudly or when they are closing their doors on the hall. But for the most part, the rooms were quiet.

Staff really friendly and helpful. Although they had said they may not be able to cater to my dietary requirements for breakfast, there was always something I could eat. Room was compact but well equipped with desk and chair, and very clean. It was the perfect location for me in terms of distance from station and from work event, with a well equipped supermarket next door.

Little bit noisy on the friday night (but nothing the hotel could have done about this.

Very helpful staff; excellent choice at breakfast. Room comfortable, but bed rather too firm and one side had been sat on causing it to dip on that side. Would have liked to have had a few more English language channels on TV.
