We stayed at the hotel as an overnight stop between Spain and England. The hotel was in a perfect location and made the one overnight stop a very relaxing experience. The bedrooms were very pleasant, the breakfast was very good, and there many seating areas for relaxing. Sadly, the outside areas and swimming pool couldn't be used due to the unseasonal poor weather.

The weather. For us, with young children and teenagers, the selection of food in the evening was a little limited. Probably more due to fussy children!! We all agreed that we would have liked to have stayed longer in order to explore the area.

Great location. Good quality accommodation and swimming pool. Quiet. Car parking. Breakfast choice limited but good quality.

We ordered our evening meal then waited 55 minutes for one cold starter which was ridiculous. When our main meal arrived after another 20 minutes the chips were cold so meal had to be sent back to the kitchen. Staff seemed disorganised. If there was a problem in the kitchen it would have been better if we had been made aware. Reception reduced our food bill by 10% which was a gesture but I would have preferred better service. Such a shame because we have stayed here 3times before and we love the hotel.

Nice hotel overlooking a lake, with playgrounds and picnic areas around. Nice room, good communication before arriving to answer my requests Easy to find and convenient for hypermarkets, restaurants if you want. We ate in the hotel and the food was nice, if a little pricey - but you expect that. We didn't eat breakfast but it looked good. Great for the dog as we could walk around the lake before heading off in the morning

We booked this hotel for the pool but it was smaller than it looked and quite crowded, plus the pool itself didn't seem so clean. Quite expensive for a stopover

We've stayed before and as usual it's a great hotel with very good rooms, tastefully decorated and spacious. Convenient for the motorway.

The restaurant wasn't available due to staff shortages with Covid. This is understandable but I can see from emails that there are extensive weekend closures during March which signifies a wider problem. The receptionist was helpful with restaurant recommendations but I suggest that the hotel keeps a proper typed list with full information. We found a very good Chinese and Japanese buffet restaurant about 10 minutes drive away and there is a Thai takeaway next to it.

Easy access from the road , felt good and was as I would expect from a Novotel ,

There were rats round the bins but I guess it’s difficult as it’s buy a lake as well, but you don’t want to see it.

I wasn’t there long enough

I stayed here as it was near to my toot home. There was a major road closed on the access to the hotel, as I didn’t know the area my sat nav found it really hard to find the property and it took me an hour late at night, just what I was trying to avoid. It would have been nice if a warning could have been given as had I had known it would have been such a problem I would never stayed there !,,

As always the rooms in this hotel are spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hotel is above a lovely park and lake (which was being renovated, hence empty at the time I stayed) so good for walks. The dog was welcome. The hotel is very convenient for the motorway and there is good parking with Tesla charging if you have one! I had a nice meal and the hotel staff were polite and helpful.

Helpful staff at check-in booked us a table in a good restaurant nearby ( which was very popular with the locals)

Restaurant wasn’t open in evening but staff had pre-warned us. Hotel was deserted and understaffed out of season, only one person manning the bar, as well as reception.

Everything except the S aturday night restaurant- which was closed

The restaurant could have been open on Sat night- even with a limited menu. We had come a long way and did not want to drive into Llimoges to find something to eat. Especially disappointing because we did not know in advance.

Our room was very comfortable and restaurant food was good. Service was good but staff seemed harried. The pool was ok and in a nice setting.

There were paper cups in our room instead of proper cups/mugs for tea or coffee in our rooms. We couldn’t see why the staff couldn’t wash a couple of cups in the dishwashers and replace with clean for new residents. Just piling up more recycling!!
